Trystan
So I'll be turning 16 next month. For most people this would be a awesome "I'm so close to becoming a adult" moment. Me however, I have just found out I'm a demigod. How you may ask did I find out one of my parents was actually a god. Well when the dog you took in from the street turns into a monster, lights start flashing. Trystan was running down a side walk through crowds of people. He turned around and saw his once a dog monster was ignoring the pedestrians at all costs and was quickly gaining ground on him. "How the hell did my chihuahua turn into a wolf the size of a bear cub!?" He demanded from the person leading him. He turned to Trystan " like I said your a demigod naturally you would be hunted down by monsters but up until now you've been lucky to get to 16 without being attacked. However now the Great War between gods is coming back around and now gods are trying to kill rival god's children off." He replied as he started to pull something out of his jean pockets. He tossed a extremely small dagger to Trystan. He somehow caught it with ease "how did I ..." He thought to himself. " you're a demigod, that means you have built in reflexes" said his escort. His escort quickly turned a corner and pulled him along. In that moment Trystan had blinked, he wished he hadn't. He was now in what looked like a large bedroom inside a bunker. A light bulb hung from the ceiling lighting up the room. He looked around and noticed there was two beds and a shelf with enough canned food and water to make it seem like it's a bunker from dooms day preppers. His escort slowly sat on a bed, but still seemed alert. "What are you..?" Trystan asked as he put up a finger for silence. Close by but barely audible he heard a growl, followed by a howl that soon fell silent. His escort took a deep breath and collapse on the bed. "Ok that wolf of fenrir is gone now he lost our scent, now we just need to wait until a rescue team comes for us." Trystan cautious sat down and looked at his new "friend". There was a moment of silence "So now that we're kind of in the clear now for now, can I get some more info about what's going on?" Trystan asked. The escort sighed and sat back up " ah yes right I forget that you'd still be pretty confused. Well many years ago people worshipped their respective pantheons across the world, but as you know from any history course those people would soon meet others who did not believe in the same pantheons. While at first this wasn't a issue, it became much larger when large numbers from pantheons started being converted. This is when the gods from those pantheons went to war with each other to prevent anymore conversions, they however caused many natural disasters in the process dividing the humans on how to stop the gods as well. Some wanted to leave the gods to their own war and continue to worship, others wanted to stop worshipping to make them weaker. Explained the escort. "But if that's the case even though it was suppose to have ended back then as well, you said it has started again..." Trystan said. The escort grinned "Good your listening, means I don't need to explain it multiple times like usual. As you said that is true. Back then the Gods decided to stop the war in a cease fire due to humans almost becoming extinct, without worshippers then they're powerless. The two sides in this deadly war were called in their simplest names Order and Chaos. The Order made up gods and humans who wanted the war over and stop the natural disasters and figure out the worshippers issue through diplomats. Chaos made up gods wanting to gain worshippers through war and any necessary means, the humans more or less follow Chaos out of fear." Trystan frowned "so around seven billion humans later they decide to finish what they started?" He asked. "No not exactly, word has it Loki freed Fenrir to assassinate leadership of the order and chaos. It went south and now the war has risen again." Said the escort. "Why did he attack both sides? Is he against what they stand for?" Asked Trystan. "Oh no no, Loki is a trickster God and the God who wants to end the world... But we don't know why he attacked both he has been with chaos side since the war began but we think it's to throw us off" he finished. "Well that answered my question if you were from order or chaos, but knowing that when can we leave this place? I'm scared shitless but this is interesting." Asked Trystan. "You are oddly calm for someone who just found out gods and goddess have always been real. But I had a couple friends around the same area as me getting some other demigods, so when they all rally here we can all return to the nearest friendly camp." He answered. Trystan flinched at something at the back of his mind when his escort was talking. He heard a woman's voice in the back of his mind, it was barely audible but it had so much in the two words it spoke "Rally Here!" She said. Trystan flinched again, he saw his escort noticed the second time "maybe you should rest up while we wait? You'll need your energy for when we move out." He said with a questioning look. Trystan nodded and laid down and slept for a hour before he heard footsteps moving toward his direction at a sprinting pace.
