Book Three: It's Like a Every Other Art Book, But A Lil' Different!

I need advice here

Okay so

Homestuck is over, yes
It's been
Two months I think
I don't remember the past month or two has been a blur for me

So I'm curious.

Is it still super acceptable to cosplay Homestuck even IF it's over?
I mean, don't get me wrong. A LOT of people still love it.

But will I receive second-hand shame because I'm too late?
This cosplay I'm working on will probably take a little more than a month. I don't know if it'll still be 'okay' then.

Honestly I've been wanting to cosplay Homestuck for a long time, but I actually came into the fandom after (S) Collide was released, so I WAS SUPER LATE.

How should I go about this? This is a pretty serious question, and I REALLY need an answer. I'm not spending $40 on a cosplay if I get hated for it.
