*Melody POV*
hey! i'm Melody Taylor, i'm 17 and the princess of the North Atlantic Ocean. since i have royal blood in me i have telekinesis, manipulation of water and i can turn human when im dry from salt water. i can touch fresh water, tap water, filtered water but not salt water. if i do, i have 10 seconds before i turn back into a mermaid. now onto the other stuff. i have 2 brothers, 1 older and 1 younger. my older one is called Aaron and is 19 and my younger one is called Jacob and is 8. Aaron has dirty blonde hair, deep blue eyes with a dark blue tail, Jacob has a light brown hair with bright blue eyes and a bright blue tail. Me? i have dark chocolate brown hair with a very dark shade of brown for my eyes, and a tail with a combination of yellow, blue and green. My mum died when i was 9 from an anchor falling on her, it was terrible. I am really shy when i first meet people or i'm around humans, but when you get to know me, i'm sassy, sarcastic, but over all a really kind and caring person, seriously, extremely kind and caring, once i met a homeless mer (A/N that's short for mermaid) and i gave her an apartment and 500c (500 clams, instead of dollars), i'm seriously that kind and caring. i know, it might've been a bit over board but she was sobbing! she only looked about 19 or so with a sign that said 'mum told me to wait here, that was 10 years ago' it was tragic. anyway, i don't break many rules, i only broken 2, i go out every day for an hour to release fish and turtles from the nets. humans can be so cruel. and i got a tattoo that looks like this.

it's just a simple mermaid, but i loved it. my parents got so angry, it's all good now though. i have 3 great friends, Sydney, Jake and Liam. we all got the same tattoo but the guys got theirs next to there collar bone and instead of long hair they got short hair. anyways, that's enough about me, lets get to the story!
