*third person POV*
Melody was settled in at home and happier than ever. There was a huge welcome back party for the princess that went on for days on end. all her friends and family, along with all of the others in the kingdom, were thrilled to have her back. she was helping her father rule the kingdom and she wouldn't change anything for the world. everything was perfect, she was home. although, her father wasn't keen on letting her go out on her own. which didn't surprise her. but every 6 months, she would go to the surface to stay with the boys for a month, as long as her older brother, Aaron was with her. she didnt want anything to change. and as much as she felt horrible for the other sea creatures getting caught in the nets, she knew that she was forbidden to go back there. her father even put guards at the border of it to make sure, but that didn't bother her as much. all was well under the sea, and she wouldn't trade it for anything.
The boys on the surface on the other hand, felt like there was something missing when she wasn't there. they missed her terribly. but when she came to visit, they cherished every moment and made it last. But they were happy for the mermaid that changed there lives. they felt special knowing a secret no one else knew, it was a huge responsibility to keep it, the mermaid secret was in their hands. but they were perfectly trustworthy and swore to keep it a secret. they all got on well with Melody's brother and had so much fun together. they, honestly, didnt want anything to change either. except maybe being able to see Melody and Aaron more often.
all was perfect in both the ocean, and on land. they were excited for the adventures to come. Melody, felt like the happiest mermaid in the world, and nothing could change it.
