my hotel room and job

A/N hey guys sorry if it's short but i've had a really shitty week and i'm really tired. so anyway, enjoy the chapter!

*Melody POV*

so i walked into the hotel and went up to the desk. "hello, can i please get a room for a month?" i ask. i can stay for a month, then i can go home. i've wanted to know what it's like up here so why not enjoy it? "sure, that'll be $657" wow, that's expensive. i give her a thousand dollars and she gives me $443 change and a key. "thank you" i say and go into the elevator. i push the 4th floor and go to room 46. entering the room i see that it's quite small (the room up top). i enter the room and start to think.

so i actually haven't thought about what i'm going to do. i know i'm going to stay here for at least a month but i can't stay in the same clothes for a month. i need more money. and to get more money, i need a job. but where am i going to work? i don't know anything here! actually, i heard that there's a place called 'Nannas cafe' (i don't actually know if this is a shop) around here. maybe i could work there? i mean, it sounds nice. i'll go there tomorrow since it's late. i don't have any pajamas so i'll just sleep in my under wear. i quickly strip, have a rinse off in the shower, then hop in bed, waiting for tomorrow.

i woke up to the sun shining in my face. ugh. it's to early. it grab the pillow and put it over my face, trying to block out the sunlight, if you haven't already guessed, i'm not a morning person. wait a minute, pillow? i shot up and saw that i was in a hotel room. what? oh right, i escaped. at the memory of me escaping, a smile spread across my lips, i'm finally free! i got out of bed, trying to ignore the cold air on my skin and started putting on my clothes. i have to go and get a job, get clothes and a few other things. i quickly run my fingers through my long hair trying to make it look at least a bit decent before i go out. i look in the mirror and see i did alright. when i'm satisfied with my look, i leave the room.

locking there door i start to head down the hallway and into the elevator, pushing lobby on the elevator buttons. the doors dinged and i walked out, going into the lobby then exiting the hotel. i walk around a little bit until i come across a cafe. Nannas cafe. i enter the shop and look around. it's really cozy. there are nice bars, tables and even a few sofas! an old lady comes out and greets me. "hello dear, what would you like?" she asks in a nice tone.

wow, i love this place already! "actually, i was wondering if i could start working here" i say with a smile. "oh! lucky for you, we were actually about to start looking for someone!" she exclaims. "oh that's great! thank you!" "please, call me Nanna" she says and gives me a small hug. she shows me how to use the cash register and how to make things like coffee or hot chocolate. at the end of the day, i head home and go to bed, exhausted from a long day.

A/N sorry it's so short i'm just tired and i've got to sort some arguments out with some friends :( i hope you enjoyed the short chapter and i'll see you either tomorrow, or next friday! see ya!
