A/N heyy! i hope that you enjoy this chapter.

*Melody POV*

i woke up to a great booming voice. "what?" i ask myself and quickly swim out of my cave and peek out to see at least 100 humans with cameras and kids. holy bat-fish! that's a lot of humans. i was cut out of my thoughts when the voice spoke up again. "and here is the worlds very first, and only mermaid!" oh, that's what this was about. the guy walks away and the humans fill up the space, pushing their faces against the glass trying to get a better view. i think i'm just going to go back inside. i turn to go back in but i swim into a wall. what? oh cheeky humans. they knew i'd go back in so they blocked me out. great, just great. i sigh and turn around and start to swim out. better get this over with then. people gasp and some point.

i get really self conscious so i start to swim backwards but what seems to be a 6 year old girl catches my eye. she's sitting in a thing, i think it's called a wheel chair. she doesn't have 2 legs like the rest of the humans. she only has 1. that's strange, but i like it. i find myself swimming over there until i'm right in front of her and i sit on my tail. she leans forward and waves, and i wave back. she gasps and turns to her mum and she nods with tears in her eyes, motioning for her daughter to keep going. the girl turns back around and hesitantly puts 1 hand on the glass. i place my hand where hers is and i hear her whisper "she's just like me..." that's heart-breaking. i smile and wave with my other hand to her mum and she waves back with the tears now streaming down her cheeks. it must be hard to see you daughter do that. i smile at her and swim off to see other humans, it's fascinating, to see them with legs and feet with toes. 

about 6 hours later a voice came through the overhead speakers. "the aquarium is closing, please make you way to the exit and enjoy the rest of your day" all the people 'aww' and start making their way out.when everyone's gone i go back to my now open cave and try to sleep. but i can't. my family can't seem to get out of my head. are they looking for me? well, of course they are, 1 they're my family and 2 im the princess! but what are they thinking? do they think i left on purpose? Daddy saw me get taken but what if he thinks that was planned? if and when i get back will they forgive me for leaving? will they even let me go out of the house again?probably knowing my family they wont. i slowly start to tire myself and i drift off to sleep. 

this keeps going on for the next 3 days until, no one comes. but why not? it is opening day after all...

A/N ok so i'm not going to do 2 tonight but i might do one tomorrow maybe but i will try to do it before next Friday. see ya!
