The foul stench of orc was in his nose so foul it was hard to breathe his vision was swimming his movements sloppy and unfocused yet he carried on he must stay focused.. that was easier said than done.

Legolas was ashamed because of him he got captured by orcs not just him but Aragorn as well you would laugh at that how could they get captured? That is a question he really couldn't answer he just remembers pain and blood and the possibility of poison running through his veins and Aragorns as well he couldn't pretend he didn't see his friend get cut with a knife it would be in bedded in his mind forever. The feeling of gross orc flesh grabbing his arms as he was too weak to prevent them seeing Aragorn lifted none to gently and carried away with them brought them to this point wherever this point maybe.

The journey was long it was almost night fall "we must stop for rest" the orcs were arguing between them but one was determined for a rest he was scrawny and probably the runt of the orcish family however messed up that sounded. Aragorn was thrown to the floor his unmoving body sprawled across the floor Legolas was dumped beside him crawling as best as he could with his arms tied together he made his way to face his best friend "Estel!!" Legolas was greeted by a pair of eyes staring back at him as hope filled him "what have we got ourselves into" Aragorns voice was weak and tired but he was alive and that's all Legolas was excited about at that moment "Legolas... legolas... LEGOLAS!!" His attention was diverted looking around he saw they were at the bottom of a cliff a waterfall on the opposite and lots of green fresh grass with healthy trees in that moment Legolas knew that in another circumstance he would've loved being here.. he could hear aragorn in the background quietly at first until he almost shouted his name, turning to face a worried pair of eyes legolas knew he wasn't paying as much attention as he should. A hand came out and gently stroked Legoals' head making him shiver "you're bleeding mellon nin" as if now was the time to state the obvious legolas started laughing noting the fact that he was in fact bleeding "it appears you are as well mellon nin" by now legolas and aragorn were happily laughing maybe slightly quieter than they would have.

"What do your elf eyes see?" His question had caught Legolas unaware but yet he really should've expected it "there is an opening through that waterfall but there is no way we will make it there with these orcs they will take the safest route.. but yet if we were to escape at the bottom I reckon we would have enough strength to climb the stairs towards the waterfall.. it would be dangerous and maybe a little reckless but it's manageable and so worth it" Legolas was thinking Aragorn was thinking and for once it was both about the same thing is the escape really worth it "let's do it.. if you say it's doable then I believe you" Legolas smiled not because they were doing something reckless but because they had some kind of plan whether it gets them killed or not.

So morning came none too quickly Aragorn and Legolas were grabbed and dragged down the path they were in fact taking the safest road and Legolas was getting antsy, they had to find the perfect time to escape but the right time wasn't coming quick enough. As if God heard their prayers they came to the bottom of the waterfall the orcs began crossing but it made it hard to cross and carry their cargo finally the orcs rested them down before deciding what to do.. Aragorn turned to Legolas seeing the same look in his eye slowly they edged further away from the waterfall towards a rock face that they knew had stairs somewhere... their luck had run out they had been seen well Aragorn had been anyway, a big orc came toward him grabbing him "wheres the other one!!" He shouted in Aragorns face when he didn't reply a large fist connected with his cheek sending more blood everywhere but Aragorn couldn't tell them where he was.

Legolas was watching from behind the rock he was worried and frustrated he had to do something and fast. Aragorn was thrown roughly on the floor god answered their calls again as something fell into the water sending all the orcs in that direction, legolas taking his chance ran out from behind the rock took Aragorn in his arms and made for the steps.
