As he stood, Nick took both folders into his hands.
They were the only two on the desk.

Funny, he thought, almost as if they were left for me.

Nick was smart, and he was able to put two and two together easily.
He knew Jack was going to try and gather information surrounding Judy on their date.
He wasn't an idiot.

Once Nick left the cubical and found himself at the ZPD's front, main doors, upon seeing Judy, his heart began to race.
She had no idea about the folder.
He was suddenly torn at the decision.

Should he tell her?
Should he not tell her?

Before he could answer, Judy was already off and down the front steps - beginning their usual walk back to her apartment.

Nick stayed silent about the folders the entire time.
He was to afraid to say anything.

No.
Not afraid of Jack.
Afraid of how Judy may react.

She was like a grande when anger, or upset, and the outcome of what her emotions resulted in was always uncertain.

Once Judy had reached her apartments main lobby, Nick had stopped her briefly before she went up to her floor.

"Uh, Jude......?" Nick said softly, and took ahold of the bunny's shoulder to grab her attention.

"Yes?" Judy asked, glancing over at the fox with half a smile.

"......On your date with Jack.....don't reveal anything to personal. Alright? You don't really know this guy and....." His voice trailed off, knowing he couldn't talk her out of the date, but he still felt the need to protect her.

After all, he had thought she was his.
But, he was wrong.

How long had he been wrong?

Judy rolled her eyes playfully at what Nick had to say. "Trust me, Nick. I won't. I only reveal personal things to you." She said with a small laugh.

A joke.
Jokes were calming.

Nick laughed nervously along with the bunny for a few seconds before biting down on his tongue.
He had begun to feel actual fear for her to go on this date.
He was terrified for his friend.

Well.
Now she was just a friend, it seemed.

The next day, all Nick could focus on were the folders he had found, and how disturbing they truly were.
He had taken the folders with him to his apartment the previous night, and got a much better look at them then.

The photos of Agent Smith tied to the chair were disturbing alright.
But nothing could compare to the one photo where the bunny was conscious, and starring straight ahead at the camera with a look of complete and pure anger, mixed with distress.

It was haunting.

There was no sign of Jack that morning, or all day at the ZPD.
Chief Bogo has briefly mentioned to the Officer's that it was reported that confidential items were taken from Savage's desk.
But he hadn't revealed what or who had done it.
That caused Nick to become very unfocused and tense all day.
Very, very tense.

When the work day had ended, Judy had rushed back to her apartment, after walking home with Nick, of course, to get ready for her date with Jack.

She kept herself simple.
A white long sleeve blouse with a small dangling black bow tie and black pants.

No heels this time.

She didn't needed to compare to a fox this time.

Jack had taken Judy to a restaurant in The Rainforest District.
Although the place was packed Jack informed his date of his 'friends' and special 'connections' he acquired, and so, the two got seated right away.
