Judy took a leave off from work for about two weeks to 'recover'. But she hated saying that. She also hated not going to work. She didn't come to zootopia to stay in her apartment. But after work, Nick always made sure to bring her a present. Either that being a stuffed bunny, because Nicholas knew she had a few in her apartment, or flowers.
He was trying to see if her poor mental state would improve.
But Judy stared to get sick. And she only assumed the worst. But not death.

Judy always thought about how when she first met Jack. And how she saw him as this great role model for her. He was the first bunny Agent for the FBI. And she thought that that was amazing. She used him to push herself to become an officer for the ZPD. But the more she thought about it. Jack wanted to be the ONLY bunny in the field.
The only other bunnies in that sort of field was Judy, and Agent Smith. But apart of her mind knew that Jack assaulted Smith for a different reason than he assaulted her.
He attacked Scarlet because she refused to continue to be with him. And Jack was a very attached person.
During the recesses in the court trial only a few weeks before, Scarlet would explain how Jack would treat her 'like a princess' but when Judy would ask what changed that. Agent Smith wouldn't answer.
But Judy had an idea.
From the pictures Nick had found in Jacks office. It was clear Jack has a temper. Because if Jack didn't have to take out Nick. She was positive, Jack would've just ruined her mental state even more.

But something that made her situation worse, is that Judy hadn't told her parents about anything. Only about the first day when Jack got there. And nothing more. She didn't wanna worry them. They had enough on their hands at the moment.

Nick approached her apartment door and knocked loudly, knowing Judy would be asleep.
Since they first met, Judy had gotten a much nicer apartment. A little further from Nicks than before but she liked her new one. She had separate rooms now for now.

The bunny's ears perked up and she quickly sat up. She got off her bed and made her way to the front door. When she opened it, she squinted at the bright light from the hall. Her face was extremely pale. A much lighter grey than usual.
Nicks eyes widened a bit at the sight of his fiancé.
"H-hey, Carrots......how are ya feeling?" Nick frowned as he stepped into the apartment, he had a small stuffed bunny in his hands.
"Bad....." Judy frowned as she took the stuffed toy from the larger mammal.
She smiled softly at the toy and nuzzled it before taking a step back inside of her apartment for Nick to be able to step in.
"So.....are you excited for work tomorrow? It's your first day back." Nick asked with a forced smile as he looked down at the grey bunny.
Judy nodded softly. "You could say excited..." She said with a small smile.
"Have you been lonely without me having to listen to your awful jokes all day?" She chuckled.
Nick rolled his eyes playfully. "You know it, Sweetheart."

About a week later, Judy was back into the flow of working at the ZPD with her partner. But she constantly complained about pelvic pain and pain in her sides. But she just assumed it was growing pains. And things of that nature. But Nick was very worried. He was always giving the bunny painkillers or letting her sit down.

The two sat in their shared seat in bullpen, listening to each assignment before they were called on.
"Officer Wilde, Officer Hopps. There is a suspected king pin in downtown. Tundra town. Get on it right away. Clawhauser has the complete case file." Chief Bogo said before placing the case file down in front of the two.
Judy could hear what chief was saying, but she wasn't listening. At all.
Her vision started to get blurry as the pain in her pelvis and side felt as if she was getting repeatedly stabbed.
"I'm sorry if our work is disrupting your daydreaming, Hopps." Chief Bogo scoffed.
"What? No. No. I'm listening......" Judy forced her eyes open before they were barley open due to all the blur.
"Alright. What is your assignment?" Chief Bogo asked.
Judy began to fall to the left side. So Nick was holding the bunny up in the seat by her right shirt sleeve on a uniform.
"Uh....king pin.....drugs......" Judy said before groaning.
"Pay attention." Chief scoffed.
"Y...yeah....I am......" Judy said as she rolled her head around on the ball of her neck before she couldn't see at all.
