A Dream Come True

Chapter 3 - Getting there

Jen's pov

I was sitting on my couch as I suddenly heard a knock on my door. I stood up and walked towards the door. I opened it and saw Ginny, Lana and Emilie.

"Hi girls," I said. "Come on in." They did as I said and then just stood there. In silence. Exchanging looks. "What's wrong?" I asked to break the silence.

"Uhm... There's something we have to tell you. Or show you. Or whatever," Ginny said.

"Yes, and we need you to come with us," Lana added.

"Alright. Let me take my purse and my phone." I took my stuff and when I came back, Emilie had a blindfold in her hand.

"We're going to have to blindfold you," she said."

"Why?"

"You'll see." They put the blindfold on and walked me to the car. When I sat down, they put headphones on my ears. What the hell are they doing? Was the only thing that was going through my mind. I felt the car starting, but I had no idea where they were bringing me.

Colin's pov

"Come in, Colin. We'll be late if you don't come right now."

"I don't want to, Josh," I really didn't wanna go because I didn't know where he would be bringing me.

"It will be fun, I promise. And if it isn't, you can hate me for the rest of your life. Come on, Sean is waiting in the car."

"Alright, you won. I'm coming," I finally said and sighed. I walked up to him and saw him standing there with a blindfold in his hand.

"I have to put this on you and in the car you get headphones from Sean as well."

"Why?"

"Because it's a surprise."

I let out another sigh. When I stepped into the car, Sean put headphones on my ears. Then, the car started and we drove away.

Jen's pov

About 25 minutes later, the car slowed down. I still couldn't see or hear anything. Well, except from the music of course. Suddenly, I felt some wind passing by, so I assumed that they opened the door. I was sure when they took the headphones and blindfold off.

"Where are we?" I asked.

No one answered. They only took me inside some restaurant. They walked up to a table for 2 people.

"Guys, this is a table for 2 and not for 4."

"Oh, don't worry. We're well aware," Ginny said with a smile as Emilie and Lana couldn't help but giggle.

"You're the only one who's staying. Well, from the four of us then." She looked to the door and suddenly, I saw Josh, Sean and wait, is that who I think it is? Yes, I'm right. It's Colin. But what's he doing here? He was just as surprised to see me as I was to see him.

"So, uhm, we'll leave you two alone. Enjoy your date," Lana said a bit awkwardly. Before I could even open my mouth to say something, the five of them were gone and Colin and I were alone.

"Hi, Jen," Colin said.

"Hi, Colin," I replied, still not knowing what exactly was going on.
