Jen's pov
We finally arrived in Belgium after 13 hours of being on the plane. Since we slept onthe plane, we weren't really tired and we just drove to Antwerp with the car we rented.

About an hour later, we arrived at the hotel we would be staying in for 2 nights. We checked in and went to our room. We just put out suitcases inside and went to McDonald's. I know, it isn't healthy. But we were both really hungry and it was the only thing open at 11 at night.

After we are our food, we went back to the hotel. On our way there, it was silent. But it wasn't an awkward silence. We just listened to each other footsteps and the cars that passed by. Because it may have been almost midnight, Antwerp is a big city and there always were a lot of cars. Even at night.

We arrived at our hotel a little while later and went straight to bed. Even though we slept on the plane, we didn't sleep the entire plane ride and we were tired again.

Colin's pov
The next morning, we woke up around 9 am. We got out of bed, got dressed and went downstairs to get breakfast. After breakfast, we went back to our room and I took my phone and wallet. Jen took her phone and purse and we left to go into the city.

The first thing we saw when we arrived in the city center, was that it was completely different than back in America. It was crowded as well, neuter much less than in New York for example.

"Let's first do this side of 'Meir' and then we can do the other side."

"Sure, I guess my wife knows best how to shop," I smirked.

"And I guess my husband will just have to follow me even though he doesn't want to."

"Probably true," I laughed. "Come on, let's go. I'm gonna spoil my wife a bit."

"You kidding?"

"No."

"Okay. Just to be sure soI can let you pay for everything."

"Don't make me go broke."

"Well, not making any promises. I am a woman and your wife after all."

"True. Let's go before I change my mind."

"Okay okay, I'm going."

We walked around the city, went into shops, bought things. Luckily, my wife (how I love to call Jen my wife) didn't make me go broke.

By the end of the day, when we arrived back at our room, we had 6 bags. 4 for Jen, the biggest ones, and 2 for me, the smaller ones. Yes, I had bought some stuff also. Well, actually Jen bought stuff for me. We decided that I would pay Jen's things and she would pay mine.

I had got a pair of jeans, a t-shirt with the words 'Dust Means Thirsty' on it. Apparently 'dust' was a West-Flemish word. But also, yeah well, 'dust' in English. And I also had got a sweater.

(Side note: the t-shirt is in the top media. That actually exist and if you're not from West-Flanders you almost can't understand and it's actually really funny. I understand it because I am from West-Flanders.)

Jen got a yellow sundress, some sparkly golden shoes, a pair of jeans and a shirt with 'Honey means Don't go', a sweater and some sunglasses.

It was around 5.30 pm now and I decided to take Jen out to dinner.

We went to a restaurant nearby. We had a nice dinner with candle light.

As the gentleman I am, I of course paid.

We went back to our room and had out little bit of fun together before we went to sleep.
