*Tucker's POV*
Throwing myself against the door, I rushed inside then threw the two men standing over Aiden to the walls behind him. Three more bodies flew past me as Clair and Paul had finally caught up to me and joined my fight. Aiden wasn't at his house when I had arrived, and the small drops of blood on his front porch told me they finally made their move. After waking his aunt and telling her what happened, I rushed out of his house and followed his scent to an old building I had never seen before.
Snapping back to reality, I dodged the blade that swung at my face, then threw my fist through his chest and let him drop to the floor. Screams rang all around the room as more and more people fell to the ground after charging at us. Aiden was cutting the ropes that bound his wrists, but as I rushed over to help him, something collided with my body sending me flying across the room.
Chris stood over me, lifting his leg to throw another kick, but I swept the other one out from under him before his attack could connect. His strength was formidable compared to most mortals, but it still fell short of mine. I avoided every blow he threw with ease, then sent him across the room, causing his head to slam against the wall, knocking him unconscious. The sound of a bone snapping caused me to turn and spot Kara, sliding on the floor, trying to get away from Clair and nursing her now broken arm.
Jerking my head to the side as the sound of a gun getting cocked entered my ears, I started over towards the man who held Aiden in his arms, but stopped as he pointed it to his face.
"Let him go!" I demanded, glaring over at him.
Aiden's body had started shaking. I needed to get him to the hospital, or risk losing him. His eye met mine for only a brief moment, the other swollen shut, then they rolled back, causing him to fall forward. The man held him in place and pushed the gun closer to him, then started laughing hysterically.
"The girl was right, you would do anything to protect him."
"Put the gun down old man. There's three of us, and only one of you."
Silencing Paul and stepping forward, I stopped midstep as he started talking again.
"If you don't want him hurt, then listen well. Let Chris and Kara go, and I'll release him."
"You're hardly in a place to bargin, Richard."
His eyes grew wide as I mentioned his name. Taking another step forward, I stopped yet again as he raised his finger to the trigger.
"Let them go, and he lives."
Growling in frustration, I ordered Paul and Clair to move, allowing Kara to help the now recovering Chris to his feet, and then out the door.
"Now, let him go."
Following my command, he dropped Aiden and rushed away. Running over to him, I broke his fall before he hit the ground, then held him tightly in my arms. Richard's scream entered my ears as I lifted Aiden's body and started for the door.
"You didn't think we would just let you go, did you?"
Stoping in place and turning around, I hadn't expected my cousin to be here, but I wasn't surprise. He was never one to miss a battle.
"Alec? When did you get here?"
I laughed at Paul's question then started for the door. Alec was no where near as strong as me, but with his stealth, he'd be able to take me down before I even knew he was around.
