The Cheesiest Pie

*Third Pony*

It was a humid June night and Pinkie Pie was slumped over her desk in her party room. It was 2am and she was trying to plan a surprise party for Rainbow Dash. It has been a week since she had got engaged and hasn't visited since then. Pinkie took Dash coming to visit as an opportunity to throw a party. After all, any excuse was a party excuse.

She snored away and Gummy was chewing on one of her pink, sparkly pencils. She turned a bit and the chair started to tip, she moved just an inch more and the chair gave out from underneath her and she collided with the ground. "OUCH!" she yelped and sat up. A few papers were on the floor so she picked them up and set the chair back up. "Oh my gosh gummy! I have to finish planning Dash's party!" her eyes lit up and she got back to work. She scribbled down some notes, checked her streamer stash for the right colors and packed them away in a party cannon.

It was about 6am and Pinkie Pie made her way to Rainbow Manor. Dash wouldn't be here till eight so she had a solid 2 hours to set everything up. The pink mare got to work immediately and started by hanging streamer up. She then blew up balloons, hung up a banner, set out some cupcakes and punch, and shot a confetti cannon. It was almost Pinkie approved when the rest of the Main Six came to help.

She handed them noise makers, party hats and confetti poppers. "Okay guys, when Dash walks through the door we'll yell "SURPRISE!", then blow our noise makers and shoot off the mini confetti cannons." She smiled and the Main Six nodded.

They all stood in a line 10 minutes before eight. Pinkie Pie excitedly watched the clock and when eight struck, she sucked in a bunch of air to prepare her. Time passed and it was now eight-thirty. Pinkie was still holding the air and Apple Jack swore she was going to pass out. I mean, her face was a deep shade of purple. "Pinkie, you can breathe. She's not always going to be here on time." Apple Jack told her.

So Pinkie let out all the air she was holding in and turned to the rest of the ponies. "She said she was going to be here at eight." Pinkie frowned.

"What day did she say she was coming back?" Twilight asked.

"June 10th. And today is June 10th. I triple checked."

"Maybe Soarin' and her got caught up in something." Twilight suggested while shrugging her shoulders.

"You never know, Pinkie. They just got engaged. It's a whole new level of a relationship." Flash smirked and looked at Twilight, making her blush.

"How would I know!?" she shouted, then the door knob clicked and started to turn. Pinkie sucked in a whole bunch of air. The door opened and Dash stepped in, Soarin' on her heels. "SURPRISE!" all the ponies yelled and Soarin' jumped a bit. Dash just laughed and they shot the confetti cannons at her.

"I'm so glad your back Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie hugged Dash, squeezing hard.

"Pinkie-air....Can't-breath!" Pinkie let go off Dash and turned to Soarin'. She hugged him too, but not as tight.

"Nice to see you Pinkie," he smiled at her, "To be honest, I wasn't expecting this."

"I noticed." She giggled and turned back to the rest of the ponies. Soarin' walked over to Flash and they talked as the girls caught up with Dash. There was a knock on the door and Pinkie went to answer it. Some more ponies from Ponyville arrived and Pinkie let them in. A few minutes later, it was a full blown party. Ponies were congratulating Soarin' and Dash, while also catching up with them.

Pinkie looked around and smiled at her work. Everypony seemed to be enjoying themselves, and that's how she knew she had done a good job. The pink mare bounced her way over to the cupcakes and took a few. She gobbled them down before going to answer the door one last time. She thought everypony was here, but the more the merrier.

She opened the door to find the one and only Cheese Sandwich. He was wearing his hat and poncho with boneless #2 on his back. He looked up at Pinkie and smiled. "It been a long time my friend." He said and Pinkie's face lit up.

"Cheese Sandwich!" She hugged him and invited him in. "What brings you to Ponyville?"

"Well I heard the Princess got engaged, then two of the Wonderbolts. So I figured I would stop by to congratulate them. I came to town, found out you were throwing a party for one of them and made the decision to come." He took off his hat, and poncho while holding boneless in his mouth.

"Let me show you to them," Pinkie offered and bounced over to Twilight and Flash, "This is Flash Sentry, Twilight's body guard and fiancée."

"Nice to meet you." Cheese held out his hoof and Flash shook it.

"Nice to meet you too."

"So what's your guys' story?" Cheese asked. It took about 45 minutes to give the shortened version. Once they finished, Pinkie led Cheese over to Dash and Soarin'. It took about an hour to give the shortened version of their story. After that, ponies started to leave and the party was coming to an end. The Main Six started to clean up and once they finished, they headed over to the Hayburger to get dinner. All the ponies enjoyed catching up with Cheese Sandwich. He shared a few more of his party adventures before the ponies bid farewell and left for the night.

It was just Cheese and Pinkie. "Are you staying in town?" Pinkie asked.

"Why of course! I figured I would hang out for a few days." He smiled his cheeky grin and Pinkie giggled.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow Cheese Sandwhich." Pinkie hopped away, making a bounce sound.

"Goodnight Pinkie Pie." Cheese walked to the hotel room and tucked himself and boneless #2 in.

A/N

And we're back! But with cheesepie this time!

This book is going to be a bit shorter. Its also going to be harder to write because I've never written in Pinkie's point of view or cheese's. So it going to take me awhile to get into character when I type.

So please be patient about me with that.

I'm also still working on the plot. I have the book planned out, but the more I look at it, the more I feel like its not grand enough.

The drawing contest winner will be announced tomorrow or Monday. I am taking last minute submissions! So hurry!
