*Third Pony*

Pinkie woke up early; she wanted to be there when Cheese left. She didn't know when that was, but she figured she would just show up at the hotel. The pink pony put together a care package of sweets. In the brown paper bag was two cupcakes. A pink one and a zap apple one. There was also an apple fritter, a slice of confetti cake and a chocolate doughnut. Don't tell Flash Sentry...

Pinkie Pie bounced through the streets, waving hi to everypony she knew. She arrived at the hotel and told the clerk she was looking for Cheese Sandwich. "Looks like he checked out last night." The pony said looking at the parchment paper.

"What do you mean last night? He was supposed to leave today!" Pinkie began to panic and her eye twitch.

"He was booked till today. Let me see if there's anything in his file." The pony went into a room and came back a few minutes later with a yellow folder. She opened it up and flipped through it before coming across a letter. "Is your name Pinkamena Diane Pie?" the mare looked at the name addressed on the envelope.

"Yeah..." Pinkie was quite curious.

"Says here on this sticky note that he left this for you." The mare took of the sticky note and handed the envelope to Pinkie. She was about to rip it open when the clerk stopped her. "Why don't you read it at home?" She smiled and Pinkie nodded.

"Thanks." The pink mare said while bouncing out. But instead of going home, she went to Twilight's castle. She had to tell Twilight about what when on between Cheese and her. Nobody knew except them. The guards let her in and she hopped her way to the library. Pinkie walked in and stopped a few desk down.

Flash whispered something to Twilight and Twilight looked up at Pinkie. "Pinkie Pie? What are you doing here? I thought you would be saying goodbye to Cheese Sandwich." Twilight was confused.

"He already left," Pinkie sat the brown paper bag down in front of Flash, "This is for you now."

"Thanks!" He opened it up and immediately took out the doughnut.

"I'm sorry Pinkie." Twilight gave her a sympathetic smile.

"He left me a letter." Pinkie pulled the envelope out of her hair.

"Have you read it?"

"No."

"Then read it." Twilight seemed intrigued by what it had to say.

"Okay," Pinkie opened the envelope and unfolded the letter,

"Dear Pinkamena Diane Pie,

This past week with you has been amazing. It's indescribable how amazing it was. But as we all know, all good things must come to an end.

I hope you know why I had to leave early. If I saw you one more time, I wouldn't be able to leave. I hate to break your heart like this, but know that I care for you so much. It was probably best that I leave early anyway.

But all that we have done this past week, engraved memories in my head that I will never forget. You're quite the mare Pinkie Pie. And I hope you know that. I'm sure you'll meet some stallion that's better than me. And they'll treat you right and not skip town like I did. But do take note, that you'll be the only mare on my mind. What we had was different...almost magical. But we all have move on at some point.

I'm sure we'll come across each other again. But not for a long time.

It's been nice getting to know you Pinkamena Diane Pie.

Pinkie was beginning to cry, Flash was slowly chewing on the apple fritter and Twilight was writing down notes. She finished scribbling stuff down and magically handed Pinkie a box of tissues. "Pinkie, I hope you don't mind me asking, but what went on between you two? All I know is that you both liked each other." Twilight said.

"We kissed a few times." Pinkie said, trying to pull it together.

"What was it like?" Twilight continued to take notes.

"I don't know. Fireworks and butterflies. All the cliché stuff." Pinkie said stealing the pink cupcake from Flash.

"Cheese mentioned how it was like magic; do you agree?" Pinkie nodded and Twilight smiled at her while writing down more notes. She looked back at the pink mare and smiled. "You can stay here for a while. I'm just researching some things."

"I think I'd like that." Pinkie blew her nose loudly and read the letter again.

A/N

Yeah, it's short again. But You guys got more than one update! So the next chapter is going to be a bit off. Mainly because I can't remember when the Gala takes place, But it's going to be in June now! Hope you don't mind!

I'm so not ready to school and deal with all those people again.

AHHHHHHHH!

And I finally saw Suicide Squad! IT WAS AMAZING!

I'm a huge DC fan. Sorry marvel! HAHA NOT!
