*Pinkie Pie*
I woke up bright and early, knowing what I had to do. I got out my party box and dragged two cannons down the stairs. I began to decorate the bakery, it was going to be a party. This was part of my master plan. To make a party and have my friends come. Then when Cheese walks in, well...I'll save that for later.
But it was now Thursday and he leaves Sunday. So if he does like me, we'll have a few days to come up with a plan. I finished decorating and shot the two party canons. I have 30 minutes till Cheese arrives. So I baked a confetti cake and frosted it. In pink icing, I wrote; "Do You Like Me?". If he doesn't, I at least hope he likes the cake. The Main Five arrived and they took their places.
This party is supposed to be a surprise party. I think plenty of surprises will happen during this party.
Three minutes till he walks through the door, I hit the lights and ducked behind the counter. I heard a knock, and Cheese say hello. He opened the door and walked in. Three...Two...One! I counted and jumped out from behind the counter. "SURPRISE!" we all yelled in unison.
Cheese grinned and walked over to me. "Thanks Pinkie!" he wrapped one of his hooves around my neck. I shrugged it off and turned to face him. I was a disappointed! He didn't even jump! "You weren't even surprised!"
"My sweet Pinkie Pie, I can smell a surprise party a mile away." He chuckled.
"Well, the surprises aren't over yet." I went back into the kitchen and grabbed the cake. When I walked out, Twilight was standing there.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" she whispered to me.
"Yeah! I'm sure!" I bounced over to Cheese and held out the cake. He turned his attention to me, smiled and looked down at the cake. He read the sentence and his face fell, cheeks magenta.
*Cheese Pie*
I re-read the sentence on the white, pink and blue cake. I couldn't believe that Pinkie would have to gut to ask me!? But then again, she is a pretty brave pony. I just kept staring at the cake, hoping that it would tell me something. I never really thought about liking Pinkie. Okay. That's a lie. I have. But in all the scenarios that played out in my head, it never ended well. That's why I decided to like her, and hide any feelings.
Oh well. Here goes something. "Pinkie...I just...I-I...I just don't know." I planted my hoof in my face, knowing that this was going to be pretty bad.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her blue eyes full of curiosity.
"Um...," I looked around the room full of her friends, "Can we talk outside?"
"Sure!" she walked outside and I followed her. If were being honest here, I don't think I've ever seen Pinkie walk. "So how do you not know?" she asked.
"I do know Pinkie. It's just more complicated than you think." I sighed and looked at her, then the clouds.
"Yes or no? It's not that complicated." She looked at me with a serious face.
I thought about what she said. Maybe telling her I like her won't be so bad. I'll just tell her but refuse to act on it. "Do you want the truth?" she grinned and nodded, "Well Pinkie Pie, I do like you. More than I probably should." I smiled at her and she had a huge grin on her face. She pulled a party canon out of nowhere and shot it off.
I chuckled and began to dance with her. All her friends came outside too, and began to dance. It's strange how things work out.
(Time Skip)
After Pinkie's celebration party, I helped her run Sugar Cube Corner. Then I offered to make some Cheese Sandwich's for dinner, and we did just so. And in return, she made cherry pie. And boy was it good!
After dinner, she showed me around her room and her party room. I also met Gummy. That little alligator-crocodile thing was so hilarious! I'm sure him and boneless would get along just fine!
Now Pinkie and I are back in the bakery, enjoying some milkshakes. "So where are you heading?" she asked.
"Not sure. Wherever duty calls." I looked off into the distance to make it more dramatic. Pinkie giggled and smiled. I loved it when I made her laugh and smile. She made a great friend, and whoever gets her in the end is lucky. I would love to be that stallion. But I'm always on the move. And now is no time to settle down. Business is at its peak and I still want to plan that Gala. "It's getting late. I should had to bed." Pinkie said, then yawned.
She led me to the door and opened it. "Goodnight Pinkie Pie!"
"It's Pinkamena Diane Pie." She gave me a shy smiled.
I slid my hoof under her chin and held it up higher, so her eyes met mine. "That's a lovely name." I smiled back.
"You really think so?" she got a bit more excited.
"I know so!" I grinned and gave her a hug.
"Goodnight Cheese Pie!" she let go.
"Goodnight Pinkamena Diane Pie!" I stepped outside but she stopped me before I could leave.
"You forgot this!" she handed me a brown paper bag.
"What is it?"
"You'll see when you get back to your hotel," she smiled and shut the door halfway, "See you tomorrow!"
"Bye!" I said and she shut the door.
I skipped happily back to the hotel and into my room. I fed Boneless again then tucked him in. Before I tucked myself in, I looked into the brown paper bag and saw another cake. But this time, it had "I Like You Too" written on it with pink icing. I grinned and put it in the mini fridge. I'm lucky to have Pinkie in my life. I just hope nothing goes rotten.
