I was pretty sure I would fall, face first, on the street, showing how clumsy I am, getting a few stares and probably a broken nose. Well I would have, if it wasn't for his strong arms that gave me support as I fought from gravity.

He stood me up as I regained my balance. I was blushing, no doubt, but I couldn't just help it. He was so tall, and people! He has his hands around me!

He quickly let go of my both sides as I took a step back, because we were just standing so close. He stared at me, as my brown eyes met his sea green one. I felt something twist in my heart, though, it was a gold feeling.

"Thanks." I whispered quietly, my cheeks heating up. Thomas shrugged and smiled at me, "I was just doing my job." He snickerd.
He then also took a step back, probably noticing how close we still were standing, and slightly blushed.

"So, how are you?" I quickly said, changing the subject before things become too awkward. He only sighed and stared at me, but didn't say anything. Frustrated, I waved my hands in front of him and asked."What? Is there something on my face?"

"Uh... no. Why would there be?" He asked, scratching his back of the head.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Well, because you are staring at me like I just popped out from the ground." I replied matter-of-fact.

"No, no. I was just thinking."

"So you can actually think." I made a joke, as I started walking down the street. Thomas jogged and caught up with me.

"Yeah well, I can. Ta-da!" He snickered, slightly raising both of his hands up in the air and waving them, like he just threw a surprise birthday party. I couldn't help, but smiled.

"So, what were you doing, right in front of my house?" I asked him, still walking. But to be honest, I had no destination in my mind. I was just walking because it seemed very irrelevant to talk in the middle of the street and when trespassers can easily eavesdrop on you. Yeah, that society.

"I was going to go and talk to you." He replied without missing a beat.

I stopped. Talk to me? Why in the world would he talk to me? What was so important he actually came to my house to talk to me? Wow! I still remember when he used to just glance at my mere sight and continue doing whatever work he was doing, when I used to come at Megan's house. He barley noticed me, not even a simple 'Hello'. Yet, here he was telling me he need to talk to me.

I looked at him. He smiled at me, his green eyes twinkling and strands of his hair falling over his eyes. He was really attractive. My heart started beating fast, too fast. Why? Why is it beating so fast? I asked myself, trying to calm down.

"Sure, what did you wanted to talk about?" I asked him, while trying to calm my heart down -which was beating fast now- forcing a smile. I was sure he could hear my heart beat.

"Um..." He hesitated for a moment. "It's just that, I don't think I would be able to tell you, well not right in the middle of the street. Mind if we sit somewhere?" He asked me a little shyly.

"Yeah, sure. Where do you want to go? To the park or some restaurant?" I asked him.

He smiled. "Restaurant is good."

"You never told me what is that you want to talk about?" I asked Thomas as I twirled my straw in the glass of lemonade.

After a whole argument where to go, we finally agreed that we should go to a nearby cafe. We talked about our lives and where will we go after the graduation and things like that, as we walked towards the cafe. Though, the cafe was just a few blocks away, it was the most longest conversation I had with someone for the past few days.
