Love You Jerk

I could barely see through the tears.

I gave my brother James a hug, kissed him on his cheek, hugged my best friend Lydia and faced Ken.

I gave him one last kiss goodbye and made him promise to contact me everyday.

"I love you." He whispered into my hair.

"I'm going to miss you." I said before being rushed away by my dad.

I waved to Ken and turned around trying not to cry any harder.

I slept the whole way on the plane and before I knew it, here we were, in London, England.

I checked my phone immediately and saw messages from Lydia, James and Ken.

I miss you already!-L

I can't believe you're in England! If you meet the Queen, be sure to get an autograph for me. -J

I rolled my eyes at my brother's message.

I hope you got to England safely. I know how dangerous flights can be. You know, I saw from a program on tv that 1 out of 100 planes crash. Hopefully yours wasn't that one. -K (A/N I don't actually know if it's true, I just made it up :))

Aww how sweet.

I texted all of them back and was ready to embrace this new life.
