Vivian opened her eyes to shouting. She opened her eyes groggily and gingerly rubbed her head. It was pounding and the yelling was not helping. "Cut that out. Stop all that yelling." Vivian groggily said. Suddenly the door of the room she was in flew open and a guy stepped thought it. A guy she didn't realize. Vivian screamed as the man stepped on her, and went right through her, as if she wasn't there, as if she was a.. ghost. "But that's not possible!" Vivian screamed. She didn't care who heard or didn't hear her. Vivian stood up and looked helplessly at the man who had, mere seconds ago, stepped right though her. He was shaking someone awake. "Wake up Kill!" He screamed at the figure under the sheets. More shouts and yells from outside when suddenly she realized she wasn't in her room. She had no idea where she was. Suddenly there were gunshots, a lot of them, then suddenly without warning the walls shook violently and the whole floor shook as if trying to throw her around the room like a ball. "KILL" The man screamed again. He was getting scared. She heard the fear in his voice. The lump in the sheets finally sat up. "Kill, we need to leave. Now." The room shook again, this time more violently than the first time. Kill, the figure jumped from the bed and practically on top of the man. "Seth! What the hell is going on!?" He yelled back at the man, Seth. "They found us. And they're not happy." Seth yelled back. It was damn-near impossible to hear over the sounds outside. As Seth and this Kill guy began to leave the room Vivian ran over to Seth, grabbing onto his arm, screaming, "Why am I here? Where am I?" Seth appeared to take no notice of the hysterical teenage girl on his arm. Seth and Kill left the room, Vivian clinging, terrified, to Seth's arm followed them. They broke into a run down the hallway. Turning left and pushing their way through a pair of double doors. If Vivian had the time, she would have stopped and admired the scenery. Well, the scenery that wasn't exactly where they were at that moment, but further out. Where they were at was a mess. Crumbled buildings, fallen trees, even a few.. 'were those bodies?' Vivian wondered horrified. And there was even a fire beginning to spread across the desolate ruins. Vivian continued to rush with the guys, still gaping in awe at the scenery. They passed a few broken signs is a language she couldn't read or understand and she realized that wherever she was, she was not in the United States. As she continued gazing, her eyes wandered beyond the wreckage to green hills, tall mountains, and a forest. Trees, wildlife, flowers, it was honestly picture perfect. Vivian wished that she had a camera with her to document the beauty of it. Suddenly she was yanked back to the reality of her situation. As she turned her focus on the guys ahead of her, she stopped so suddenly it was as if someone had knocked the wind out of her. Kill, the lump in the sheets, well his sheets had finally come off and Vivian could see who he really was. Killian. He looked much younger though. 17, her age about. She realized that she had fallen behind and struggled to catch up. Right on time it seemed, as she caught up to Killian, Seth was pulling him into a helicopter. Vivian grabbed on tight and let Seth pull her up into the helicopter with Killian. She collapsed into the seat next to Killian only to fall into the lap of his brother, Jillian. Startled she stood and sat across from the boys and next to Seth. Jillian looked over at Killian, as if he was about to tell him that his parents just perished in a fire. Killian, catching his breath seemed to suddenly become aware of his brothers presence. The helicopter began to take off. The blades whirring to life. Killian whipped his head around to gape at his brother, eyes huge as saucers. "I am so sorry," Jillian started, taking his brothers hand into his. Killian jumped to his feet. "Where is she?" He bellowed, his eyes turning almost seemingly black, storms raging in them. Vivian gasped. She had no idea such a small amount of space as a pupil could hold such.. anger. Such fear. Killian seemed to begin trembling, his hands fists at his sides. "Oh my god, he is going to explode. Literally." Vivian though out loud. She knew no one would hear her anyways. In a the blink of an eye Killian had Jillian pinned against the wall of the helicopter. It lurched violently to the right. "Calm down back there!" The pilot yelled. "WHERE THE HELL IS SHE JILLIAN." Killian screamed in his face. "And if you look around you will notice that it is indeed raining feces because shit just hit the fan" Vivian humored to herself. Seth stood slowly. "Sit down Seth." Killian spit though his teeth. Seth sat back down. "I thought that I could help her, but her leg was.. useless. I would have had to.. remove it. " Jillian calmly explained to his raging brother. "Then. Why. Didn't. You? Why. Isn't. She. Here. With. One. Leg?" Killian forced the words from his mouth one at a time. "I had everything set up, I was just about to begin, I had already dosed her with a heavy amount of sedative. I was just about to begin the amputation when the attack began. Next thing I know the walls are shaking and I knew that I had to get out of there. I picked her up but she was dead weight. I wouldn't have been able to make it out carrying her. And she knew that too. She told me to put her down. To leave her and get myself out. She told me that she knew she wasn't going to make it. And that someone needed to be with you. She made me promise to stay with you. Then she, by God I don't know how, but she drug herself out into the main room and.. and.." Jillian was getting choked up and Killian already had the waterworks on high. Tears streamed down his face and his face screamed such agony it was near impossible to look at him. Suddenly Vivian was flooded with a burning white hot sensation and she realized immediately that she was once again sharing emotions with Killian. Feeling his pain. She screamed out and didn't know how Killian refrained from doing the same. Vivian pulled at her skin, trying to get out. It was eating her alive. The white hot flames were consuming her everywhere and it hurt like hell. Then all at once the white fire inside of her subdued and she was watching the scene unfold in front of her once again. Jillian cleared his throat and continued. Killian staggered back and sat down, hard, into the bench. Jillian fell into his seat and continued. "and I heard screams. Terrible terrifying screams. Then one single sentence. One sentence she was able to yell out to me. 'Tell Killian that I love him with all my heart and soul I love him.' With that I turned and ran like hell out of there and into the helicopter. Those were her last words Kill. That she loved you. I'm so sorry Killian." Jillian finished. With a sob, Killian heaved himself forward into his brothers arms and was crying like a baby. Punching his fists into his brothers chest and grabbing onto him like he was the last life saver. The only thing that could save him. Jillian held onto his sobbing brother just as tightly. And it faded out from there. The image of Jillian holding his sobbing Killian so close, and Seth awkwardly sitting by the opening in the helicopter just faded and faded until there was nothing but blackness.
