They all got back to the car and they drove back to the boy's house, much slower than before. The ride there was silent. No music played, no windows rolled down. Just silence. Killian was driving and it was obvious that he was angry. When the got back to the house, Killian threw his door open and stormed inside the house, Jillian slinking in after him, and Vivian following. Killian was pacing in the kitchen, and there were still dishes on the counters and in the sink. Jillian and Vivian entered the kitchen silently and sat down at the bar. "Jillian." Killian started. Still pacing, and not glancing at Jillian. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. "How could you be so stupid?" Killian roared, turning to face the two at the bar. Jillian shrunk back, and Vivian fell out of her chair. Neither of the boys had seemed to notice. Vivian felt a rage boiling up inside of her and quickly got up to use the restroom. Only, she didn't know were it was. "Second door on your left!" Killian screamed from the kitchen, she assumed towards her. Vivian didn't have to see Killian's eyes to know that they were deep amethyst pools of seething hot liquid. Vivian's eyes clouded over with his rage as she fumbled with the door handle of the room. She managed to push open the door and stumbled into the room. She tripped over something and fell onto a bed. 'What?' She thought. But she had no more room to think for her entire body was suddenly on fire. She writhed on the bed. 'HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THIS!?' Vivian screamed inside of her head. 'How does Killian keep these emotions inside of him. How did he have so much?' She wondered curling into a ball of agony. As soon as it had come over her, it was over. "Vivian?" 'Shoot. This isn't the bathroom?' Vivian thought anxiously as she looked around and heard Killian's voice, the rage gone. "I-" She started, but topped short, noticing the walls. She stood up and moved over towards the wall, to get a closer look. One word surged through Vivian's mind: 'Her'. Killian's door slammed open, "What the hell are you doing in here?" He shouted at her, startled to see her there. "I um I uh.. I was trying to get to the bathroom, but I uh.. I um... I got lost and ended up in here. I tripped on something and fell on your bed and I got really dizzy so I had to sit for a minute, then I realized that this wasn't the bathroom and got up to leave.. But.. who is this?" Vivian rushed out, tripping over her words and motioning to the pictures on the wall. All of the same woman. 'Her'. The word shot through Vivian's mind again. She felt a pang of sorrow, just barely, but enough to know that it was not her own emotion. Killian's eye clouded over slightly for a moment, then cleared. Jillian entered the room, and sighed. Killian sat down on his bed and Jillian sat next to him. "She.. her name was Jade. She was my fiance." Killian stuttered. Jillian placed his hand on Killian's shoulder. Killian looked towards the opposite side of his room, out the window. His eyes seemed to almost glaze over. Vivian and Jillian waited for him to come back. When he did, he looked over towards the picture on the wall, then towards the ground, then landed on Vivian, and he jumped, as if startled out of a dream. He's seemed to have forgotten the two of them were there. He wasn't. He was off in the past. Off with Jade. "She was my girlfriend.." Killian started out. He then went on to tell them how they'd met on a hunt and immediately kicked it off, then three months later were engaged. After that it was just what Vivian had already known, from the vision. How she had gotten injured and they'd needed to stop there to fix her and heal her and for them all to rest. How her leg was useless, how she sacrificed herself and was left behind. "This was seven years ago.. and I still have nightmares about it." Killian finished. Vivian was intrigued and shocked, even the second time through. "Killian, I'm so sorry." Vivian started. Killian looked up, confused. Then his eyes set and hardened. "I don't want your sympathy Vivian" He spit out her name like a bad taste in is mouth. "I-" Vivian tried. "Just forget it. Like I said, it was a long time ago, and no. I don't want to talk, and no, I won't want to talk about it in the future." Killian got up and left the room. Jillian followed and Vivian left last, closing the door behind her. Jillian and Vivian made their way back to the kitchen, but Killian was gone. They didn't hear the car engine, but they didn't need to because they already knew that he'd flown away. "He's not talked about her in a long time." Jillian said. "I.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" "Of course you didn't. How could your have known?"Jillian cut her off. Jillian's entire posture then changed and his face set. "We need to get back to work." "Okay," Vivian agreed, eager for the distraction.
