This is partially what the fic is based on and it's actually a decent song. if you don't want o listen to it at least go to the description and read the lyrics.

It was practically glacial the night that all hell broke loose.

The wind surged through the skeletal ebony trees as Alec trekked down the sidewalk, intermittent cracks appearing with every cacophonous step in the noiseless night. He wrapped his jacket tighter around his shivering frame before he began to race along to the Institute.

There was agitation in the air and he didn't want to greet it head on. He put his head down and hurried faster, his hands always on his bow and quiver just in case. He stopped suddenly and turned around as a loud footfall hit his ears.

"Who's there?" He growled solicitously as he drew his bow and strung up an arrow. Alec propped himself against a wall and signed in relied when he saw none other than Jace Herondale, his best friend and Parabatai step out of the shadows and into the haggard moonlight.

"I hope I didn't scare you too much there Alec." Smirked Jace as he strode up beside Alec practically trotting to keep up with the brutal pace.

"No you didn't frighten me Jace but there's trouble in the air and I think it would be best if we hurried back to the institute. Izzy and Clary are probably looking for us as well." Alec abruptly stopped in his tracks, drawing his bow and arrows. Jace drew his seraph blade.

"Who are you and why are you following us?" Hissed Alec as he glanced worriedly over at Jace.

A deep male voice rang out into the alleyway.  "I am not of your concern children of the Nephilim. You may simply refer to me as Lust." He stepped out into the translucent light and Jace and Alec stared at him.

He towered above Alec who was a large six feet two inches so he and to be at least six and a half feet tall. His sorrel coloured hair curled well past his ears in small, wispy strands and his clinquant cinereal eyes glimmered in a dry amusement. His lips were turned up into an inquisitive and presumptuous smile. He was donned in a stylish set of tight leather pants and a loose silk shirt of the darkest black  that Alec had ever laid eyes upon.

"Does this form not please you?" He asked Jace as he turned away from Alec who had now lowered his bow from the lack of threat and physical confrontation. "Perhaps this will please you then."

An auroral light shone forth and when it finally dispersed, a new figure stood before them.

"I do believe that this is much more to my liking boys." Her provocative voice floated down the ally as she tentatively took a step towards the two Shadow Hunters. They quickly drew their weapons and brandished them. She stayed back but smirked.

Her ebony locks tumbled down to her shoulders and a sensual sparkle came from her striking cerulean eyes. Her full crimson  lips were pursed in a crass smile and her lengthy arms crossed over her torso. A tight fitting  and rather short black chiffon dress snugly covered every curve of her voluptuous and full breasts and hips and a pair of black stilettos graced her feet.

"I'm sure that this form pleases you more Jace Herondale, Who am I you ask? Why I am Lust, deliverer of passions, mother of intimacy and bestower of deadly passions. I am the strongest of the vices bestowed by the angels and I will be your downfall as Sebastian Morgenstern intended me to be."

"What do you have to do with Sebastian?" Hissed Jace furiously as the seraph blade lit up with an eerie luminescence. "He died and has not returned so I'll ask again. What do you have to do with Sebastian Morgenstern?"

Lust chuckled to herself before she lunged at Jace, throwing him against the brick wall and holding a knife to his throat. Alec shot an arrow with such an accuracy that it should have embedded itself into her heart except for the fact that she had caught it between her thumb and forefinger.
