Rivera Residence.
Tuesday, October 23. 9:00 P.M.
Kelly enters her home and stands silently by the doors, waiting for something to break the stillness that has embraced the Rivera household since Pamela Rivera voluntarily hospitalized herself for her bipolar disorder. Kelly shifts towards the staircase when she establishes that nothing has changed and that she is home alone.
The moment Kelly opens the door to her bedroom, her cat Ana greets her with a leap from her castle home at the corner of the room. "Hi Ana," Kelly bends down to pick her up. "Did you finish your bowls of food?" Kelly walks to the castle placed there by Ashley and Angela when they remodeled her bedroom back in August. "Good girl. You finished it all." Kelly eyes the two bowls she had filled with cat food before she left for school that morning. "Oh, you must be thirsty," She says inspecting the water bowl. "Let's get you some water." Kelly turns around, grabbing her cellphone before exiting the room.
Her phone buzzes as she walks downs the stairs and Kelly looks at it to see a text from Leo asking if she got home all right. Kelly smiles and begins to type her response with one hand:
Yes, I did, Thanks.
You?
Kelly gets her answer as she reaches the bottom of the stairs:
I did.
What are you doing?
About to give Ana
some water.
Kelly enters the kitchen and sets Ana down on the floor, going to the corner where another bowl lays on the floor for Ana. She grabs it and goes to fill it up with Water setting her phone on the kitchen counter.
Her phone buzzes twice before she sets the bowl in front of Ana. Straightening, she goes to grab it from the counter and sees she has one text from Leo 'awwwing' her for taking care of her pet, which she responds with an 'lol' and a smiley face. The second text message is from her cousin Kelsey.
Done with Homework yet?
Kelly's eyes widen, "hoot!" She looks down at Ana who is happily drinking her water. "I'll leave the door open for you." Kelly hurries up the stairs while quickly responding to Kelsey.
Haven't started yet!
Kelsey responds just as Kelly is reaching her bedroom.
OMG!

The world is ending!
Kelly can't help by laugh at her cousin's dramatics.
