Ms. Nel: Y'ALL WAKE UP !! IT'S TIME TO GO !!
Me: Damn! another day of waking up early *yawn*
I jumped up in a rush, grabbed my stuff & ran to the bathroom because I had to tinkle . I brushed my teeth and got dressed . Everyone met up downstairs and got their breakfast . I ran into my cousin & the day started from there ..
Jadah: Wassup cousin, how'd you sleep ?
Me: "Pretty good, that wake up call tho ughh", I said as I rolled my eyes .
Jadah: Right lol, Nel was yelling loud for no fucking reason, I was half awake .
When my cousin and I were done eating, we threw away our plates and waited for everyone else to finish eating so we could get in the van .
Ms. Nel: OKAY EVERYONE !! TIME TO GET IN THE VAN !
We all got up and hopped in the van & the driver drove off so we could arrive to our first destination . The mall was 15 minutes away so I layed on my cousin's shoulder and stared out the window until I slightly dosed off . I woke up when the van pulled up and everyone got out .
" damn this is a big ass mall ", Jadah said in shock . I'm going to buy a lot of things in here .
Me: You ain't lying, I wonder what stores they have in here .
Everyone got separated into groups with certain chaperones & went their separate ways ...
"Too bad I can't go with my cousin", I said as I pouted . We walked around and shopped in several different stores until every group had to meet up at the food court . Our group sat down at one of the tables & waited for the other groups . When all the groups arrived everyone talked and waited for Ms. Nel to show up for further instructions . 20 minutes of sitting down, I had to go to the restroom but didn't know where it was located at in that huge mall .
Me: Jadah, do you know where the restroom is ?
Jadah ignored me because she was having a conversation with a couple of her friends . "So much for family", I thought to myself as I walked off . I didn't have many friends so I decided to make a big move and asked a one of the girls that I never seen before on a retreat . The girl was slim-thick, gorgeous asf, light skin, & had hair that stopped in the middle of her back . She looked nice to me so I asked her if she could show me where the bathroom was .
Me: "Hey, I don't mean to bother you .. but could you come to the bathroom with me ?", I saw the look of confusion on her face so just stood there nervously .
"Sure", she said as she got up from the table . She had her face in her phone the whole time as we walked to the bathroom so there was no need to start a conversation . When we got to the bathroom she waited by the sinks. I'll admit, it was quite awkward so I tried to start a conversation .
Me: "Ewhh, it stinks in here, I think that lady is taking a shit ", I said as I covered my nose trying to break the ice between me and her .
She giggled a little bit, so I went in the stall . When I got out the stall I washed my hands then we walked out that stank ass bathroom . That was the time to introduce ourselves.
Me: I'm sorry to not introduce myself, my name is Mya but a lot of people call me Mi .
Unknown: My name is Miranda, nice to meet you .
We walked to a table near the group and sat down together . Miranda has pretty eyes but I kept that to myself lol . Soon Ms. Nel arrived ...
Ms. Nel: Okay everyone the choices are MCDonald's, Taco Bell, & Chinese food, you guys could go pick your food choices . Ok ?
Everyone said yes ma'am & went bout their business. Miranda and I got up to check out the food choices .
Me: "What do you want to eat ?" I said as I looked at her .
Miranda: Umm how about Taco Bell ?
Me: I was going to pick that anyway I said as I laughed .
Miranda: Okay let's go get it .
We walked over and ordered our food & as we waited we talked more to get to know each other . Once everyone finished eating, we headed to the museum, walked around and learned several things . Once we were finished we made it to the hotel & waited for dinner, which started at 7:00 . Miranda came in the room with my cousin, the chaperone, & I . We talked some more & in the midst of the conversation I thought to myself ... "damn this girl is fine asf, I can't believe she's talking to me, I think I'm feeling her & I hope she feels the same" .
We had fun laughing at our hilarious chaperone ( janae ) and when everyone got tired of waiting we all just took a short nap to pass time.
