Chapter 3

*sigh* Here it goes .....

"You have everything you need huh ?", My mama asked .

Me ~ "Yeah ma ... I have everything I need in my bag and my money is in my wallet", I said as I checked my bag again .

Love you have a safe trip and BE GOOD !

Me ~ Ma I'm always good. *I smiled *

"Yeah right , bye child I have to get to work", she said as she drove off the parking lot..

I started to walk up to the van to put my bag in there then I gave a hug to ken, tottie, and Sid because they go to my church they're like the only people I really know.

"Alright y'all gather up ! We are going to pray before we head on the road we have a long drive ahead of us", One of the sponsors said .

After we prayed we got onto the the van and once every one settled in,  we got on the road . It was a little boring the first 10 minutes of the ride .. So decided to put my headphones in and took a nap .

As hours passed by I just took on and off naps and listening to my music until we arrived  .

4 hours later ...

Alright y'all we are here! when we got settled in the hotel .. we went downstairs to the lobby to have a meeting about who's going to share a room with certain chaperones. Then after the meeting we are going to get dressed & wash up so we could go to dinner .

I was rooming with ken, Sidney , jayla , and ms. Nel. I was kinda happy because those where like the only people I knew .

Later ....

Ms.nell: Alright everybody we are going to go to ihop because it's closer and I know the drivers are tired of driving

We soon started walking to ihop . I sat at the table with my roommate except of sitting with Ms.Nel .

Ken~ man I'm hungry ! Ion know what I want .

Jayla~ me neither ken . *looks at the menu* I think imma get the chicken and waffles with apple juice

Sid ~ that's sounds good I think imma get that too . What you getting Miranda ?

Me ~Ummmm *looks and the menu* I think imma get the waffle breakfast

Ken~ I think imma get that to it looks good

So while we waiting for the waiter to take our order . We just talked and joked around.

Okay y'all,  so until we get the food we can have introduction ! Also known as check in . So everybody goes around saying they name and two fun facts about their selves . "Let's start with me", Ms. Nel said .

Once she started saying stuff about herself, people started going around the table saying they're info one at a time, then it starting moving quickly and next thing you know it was my turn .

Me~ "Miranda Johnson, I'm on L.W. Carver dance team and I model", I said nervously .

Once everybody finished we ate then headed back to the hotel .

"OKAY EVERYBODY WE HAVE A EARLY  MORNING  ! we are going to the mall and we'll go to the museum of San Antonio, after that we are going to come back and have chill time until dinner . So goodnight ladies and see you in the morning", Ms.Nel said .

After ms.nel gave us a speech we all went up to our room and got ready for bed .

Goodnight y'all ! I said

Good night . My roommates said .

Then I soon started to fall asleep .
