Chapter 4 - Are We Together Now?

[Joey's POV]

 I was distracted by the friction of my lips gliding across Shane's, myself still on top of him. His hands wandered all around my torso, moving from my back to my chest slowly. I quickly looked to my side to see Sawyer by the door, slightly covering his mouth with a fist to hide a "I knew it" smile.

 "Hey, uh, don't mean to interrupt but do you mind if I turn off the extremely hot lights downstairs?" Sawyer casually asked for permission to turn off the equipment Shane and I forgot about and left powered on. 

 "Um, no I think we got it," I giggled hopping off the bed and following Sawyer downstairs, offering Shane to follow, as he did.

 In awkward silence, Shane and I started cleaning up from my part of the challenge and the equipment, Sawyer in the kitchen getting a few things before going back to the office.

 "What about my part of the challenge," Shane remembered we didn't film his challenge video yet.

 "I'll make something up, blame it on the SD card and use the trash from my challenge and pretend you did it but it didn't get filmed?" I recommended, to which Shane gladly smirked and agreed at how good I was at making stories up. Hiding your sexuality while taking video of your everyday life evidently pays off. I vlogged exactly what I told Shane, followed by Cat showing up.

[Shane's POV]

 Cat walked into the door, and jealous Shanaynay came out. "Oh, now you done did it. Oh, NOW you done did it!" I jokingly started ranting on Joey for inviting Cat, as I did on the Tumblr Tag with Joey.

 When Joey stopped vlogging I formally greeted Cat with a hug and everything, just so she knows it's all for the camera.

 "Hey girl!" Joey shouted as he hugged Cat after I did. "Um do you mind if we push back the video to tomorrow? I need to talk to Sawyer about something real quick."

 "Oh yeah sure! Absolutely," Cat agreed before leaving the apartment, seemingly disappointed. Thank God she was gone, her kissing Joey two times did take a toll on me and did make me jealous. 

 Sawyer walked into the room after Cat left in response to hearing his name and that we needed to talk to him. "If it's about the whole making out thing, I don't care if you two are together, or whatever it is, and I support you both." 

 "Then I guess there isn't much to say?" Joey laughed and hugged Sawyer, thanking him for understanding.

 "Thanks Sawyer, it means a lot," I also hugged him.

 Afterwards, we finally continued where we left off. There we were, making out on Joey's bed. I sensed an awkward vibe as we did this.

 "What's wrong Joey?" I asked, stopping any activity we had going.

[Joey's POV]

 I know I love Shane, and I want to be with him. But right now, he's cheating to be with me. I felt unappreciated and once he mentioned my strange behavior I finally choked.

 "I don't know if I can do this, if you're still with Lisa." I told Shane. He then seemed extremely sorry and backed off me, realizing that he was treating me like his side hookup.

 "Joey you know I love you, but you don't know how long for," he stated, "ever since I first kissed you, I was in denial about my sexuality and feelings for you. I now know that I'm gay, and I really want to be with you." I was shocked that he's loved me since the same time I started to love him, and not as best friends.

 "Shane, I've liked you since that kiss, and I've loved you since we started making lots of collab videos together. I want to be with you too, but you have Lisa, and I don't feel comfortable doing this until you're mine, and only mine." I was determined to win Shane over.

 "Consider it done. I'll break up with Lisa tomorrow, and I'll see you then." He revealed his plans and he winked at me at those last words before kissing me on the cheek and leaving, reaching for the bedroom door.

 "Wait, are we like together now?!" I eagerly asked before he left.

 "I'm all yours, Joey. Love you, see you tomorrow." Shane left the apartment, also leaving me lonely and afraid for Lisa.
