I froze. I couldn’t believe what I had just heard. Austin was standing in front of me covered in an innocent victim’s blood. My eyes flickered towards his hands and in his left hand was a knife. It was covered in blood...human blood.
I gulped my ability to produce any sound or movement had disappeared. He was going to kill me now. I knew too much. I was done for. Closing my eyes I tried to reminisce on the good things in my life. My mind remained blank with fear. I felt a hand on my shoulder causing me to jump. Opening my eyes in fright, Austin was totally invading my space.
Jumping backwards I managed to get up as I began backing away from him “Rebekah don’t” Austin almost snarled. Trying to breath I let the heels fall off my feet before turning swiftly and beginning to run, I needed to get away, I needed to save myself.
I reached the back door knowing Austin was hot on my heels. I made my way inside weaving through the mass of people only to be pulled to the side. Before I could retaliate Emilie’s voice soothed my panic “Where were you” her voice said in almost a slur. She was drunk.
I could see Austin the other side of the room but I couldn’t leave Emilie behind I had to get her home, but before I could even think about what to do a sober looking Chad Dillon came to the rescue “You guys can stay here tonight Em got a little drunk” he chuckled. “I think I’ll go home” I said without thinking and before her could respond I was already gone making my way toward the front door.
I made it out the front door without even seeing Austin. I was greeted with the feeling of the cool concrete path beneath my feet. Hurriedly I began to walk making my way out into the dark street. The cool air created goose bumps on my skin. I wrapped my arms around myself in attempt to keep myself warm but it wasn’t working. After walking for a bit small droplets of rain began to fall on my skin. “Damn it” I cursed trying to use my hands to shield my head, a petty idea.
A car light soon illuminated the street causing me to walk briskly. The light soon disappeared allowing me to become calm again. The street was silent except for the hoot of owls in the distance and the patter of rain on the concrete.
Just as I was beginning to get lost in my thoughts a pair of strong arms wrapped around me causing me to squirm. A hand was placed over my mouth and the person began to drag me backwards. I squirmed as much as I could but there was no escape, I began to try scream but their hands muffled the sound.
Before I knew it I was thrown into a dark enclosed space that I soon made out to be the boot of a car. The boot closed leaving me in a state of panic.
The drive was long; I had given up on banging in desire to get out. I lay curled up and just closed my eyes. Just then the car came to a halt and I heard a door open and close. I knew now this was going to be the end of the road for me. I was going to be murdered.
The boot then opened to reveal the face of Austin Mahone. I gulped knowing how dangerous he really was. I closed my eyes as I felt him grab me by the hair and pull me out of the car causing me to shriek in pain. “I swear I won’t tell anyone just please don’t kill me” I begged causing a chuckle to erupt from Austin’s chest. “We’ll see” I couldn’t look him in the eye I was so scared.
I was brought inside some sort of warehouse; the lights were dim and barely illuminated the large space. I was dragged over and tossed on an old musty sofa. I coughed after inhaling the horrible smell. Just then 3 people I most definitely did not want to see made their way towards us.
“Mahone my man” Zach Dorsey called walking up to Austin and greeting him in a stupid boyish way. Zach was followed by Alex Constancio and Robert Villanueva. They repeated the same process as Zach greeting Austin. Their gaze soon directed to me. “Well Well Well look who it is, if it isn’t little Miss perfect, isn’t it past your bed time?” Robert sneered causing the rest of the boys to laugh.
I didn’t bother to respond knowing what they were all capable of. Alex pulled out some brown looking cigarette type thing and lit it up; he took a drag and began to pass it round the other 3 who took equal drags. The smell I soon identified to be marijuana. I coughed at the harsh unpleasant smell as Zach took a seat next to me, marijuana in his hand.
“Want some” he asked almost mockingly. I shook my head hard trying not to breathe in the toxicating fumes. I turned my head and began to glance around the warehouse. It was old and dirty and I did not want to be here.
The boys were huddled round a broken looking table talking and Roberts harsh tone soon caught my attention “It’s obvious she’s a virgin, so who gets her first” he licked his lips in deep thought causing my heart to race in fear
I was in for it.
