Edward's P.O.V.

"I will not be here tomorrow, Emmett and I are starting the weekend early," I told Bella from our seats at biology. I was going to sit with her at lunch but Alice shot me a look that made me stay.

Wise choice my brother dearest, we her exact thoughts.

I gave her a quick glare after that.

Bella nodded, though I could swear I saw a flash of disappointment in her eyes.

No need to worry, I thought. On the island, we will have plenty of time together.

Until I drink your blood..... added a voice in my head.

I shrugged it off.

The mountain lion struggled in my arms as captured it, midair. I quickly bit it, drank then buried it's carcass in about a minute. That did nothing to stop the burn in my throat though.

The thirst often grew, as much time as I spent with Bella, and that oddly seemed to be increasing in numbers, though fells like so little at the time. She was by far the most interesting human I had ever encountered.

It was not safe though, at least not in public.

Satisfied yet? Emmett's thoughts came, from where he was just finishing off a grizzly he had fought for some time now.

It was weirdo, seeing as bears were Emmett's favorite seeing as he was almost killed by one.

"Don't you know not to play with your food Em?" I asked lightly, knowing very well that he would hear me.

His thunderous laugh echoed off the trees, though no human had a chance of hearing.

You should try it sometime.

"I've lived for over 100 years, I've had" I answered sarcastically.

It wasn't all that fun.

"Just one more," I said, referring to our earlier topic.

A lioness ran past, and I easily caught speed with it, catching it and biting, before draining it all of it's blood, which was slightly sweeter than the male's blood. I dropped the carcass into a freshly dug hole and sped back to catch up to Emmett.

___***NEXT DAY***___

I was at Esme's Island, stocking up on food, and other human necessities. Recently, I had went into Chief Swan's house, and into Bella's room (holding my breath) to check her closet. I memorized quickly the sizes for everything before checking the materials.

She mostly owned sweats.

So right now, I went into South America's nearest store and bought a bunch of clothes, probably enough to last her a year.

A year she wouldn't have.

Then I remembered something.

She must've had her period by now.

I went through the last isle where I received strange stares. I picked up one of everything and left, feeling rather embarrassed and proceeded to the check out line, where I also received some weird and flirty stares from the cashier.
