Bella's P.O.V.

The figures in cloaks lifted up their hoods and revealed one girl and one boy, that were pale white, just like the Cullen's. The girl seemed about close to 14 and the boy about 15. What popped out the most about them was that they both had red, crimson eyes that screamed dangerous. The girl gave me a creepy and sickly smile.

Edward glared at her.

"Follow us," the boy said, leading us into the castle. Edward, Alice, and I followed as we passed a beautiful girl near the entrance.

"Welcome back Alec and Jane," she said, giving them a small smile.

"Giana," both said, nodding.

Giana was tanner than both Alec, Jane, Edward and Alice, and though she was pretty, she didn't compare to Edward and Alice either. No one did.

We entered an elevator and I saw Jane hit the last floor number. As we went up, it got colder and colder. I shivered and leaned in next to Edward, though if anything, he made me even colder. He tensed up before relaxing and putting an arm around me. "Don't worry,"He said softly. "I won't let them hurt you," he promised, kissing my forehead. I blushed.  Though I was calmed by his comforting words, my fear only increased with every step we took. We reached the top and entered through a pair of massive doors. They were engraved with weird designs and made me feel even more afraid. When we entered, the first thing I noticed were the chairs. There were three, enormous thrones in the middle of the room, but the men sitting on them had a bigger effect on me.

The man in the middle had skin that was translucently white, like onionskin, and it looked just as delicate-it stood in shocking contrast to the long black hair that framed his face. His eyes were red, the same as the others around him, but the color was clouded, and milky.

The one to the right of him also had milky, red eyes. All of them seemed too. His snow white hair was shoulder length, almost the same as his skin tone, which was also translucently white. He appeared graceful, but his eyes screamed murder.

The last one had shoulder length black hair, with an average build, like the other men. His pale skin had a papery texture and like the rest of them, had translucently white skin. He, like the rest of them, had blood red eyes but he looked strangely uninterested in everything that was going around him. His face was expressionless and emotionless, unlike the man in the middle, who was smiling. His smile didn't comfort me though. I was frightened by all the people here, who liked at me like I was something to eat.

"Edward, Alice, welcome! I haven't heard from you in such a long time. Tell me, how is Carlisle?" The smiling man said. His enthusiasm seemed forced though.

"He's fine." Edward answered curtly.

"And Alice?" He asked, stepping over to where Alice was.

She put on a brave face and gave him a small smile. "I'm great Aro. How are you?"

"Well you see, I'm in a but of a tough spot. It seems that the humans are suspecting us. To be exact, they're suspicious of your family. The Cullen's."

"Why?" Alice asked confused. "We haven't done anything wrong."

Aro shot us a small, forced frown. "It seems that a young girl, of about 17 went missing a few weeks ago. So did a son of the Cullen's. Edward." Aro turned back to us. "They're surprised you too went missing. They were even more surprised that you were the last person they claimed the girl was with. What was her name again? Isabella, I presume."

He looked at us expectantly. "Is it true?"

Edward nodded stiffly.

Aro glided over to us and looked me in the eye.
