Drunk in Delight
I am drunk in delight,
my perception altered with this eternal intoxication.
I am drunken, step aside,
my senses switched and shaped from passions side.
hear my words; find meaning without,
reason are the words that I speak.
with thy name; spilling intellect and logic,
it is the wine that which I seek.
I am drunk with the taste of nectar;
I know only this, the thirst for the wine of his.
whilst gazing in the ocean
of that which drinker's call bliss.
I am drunk, not ashamed, drinking in ecstasy,
in moments of an elating, divine grace.
in a world of this ecstasy
not for contentment, comprehension nor faith,
I shall drink this intoxication, never shall I tire.
I am ever drunk, in this potent desire
My soul is caught in passions fire
