YOUR POV

I ended up choosing yes. This would be my first date with anyone at this school, after all. Plus, I've heard that new restaurant is really fancy. I wonder why he asked me...?

Anyway, it's the day after and I have no idea what to do. "What do I wear? What's HE going to wear? Oh god. BREATH, (Y/N), BREATH. We've still got until tomorrow to figure this all out."

Maybe I should ask Maka what to do. Or maybe Soul? They're really close, so maybe Black Star has told him about tomorrow. At least it's a Saturday so I have no homework to do. (What a shock.)

I'm just strolling down the streets. I had finally gotten a job at a maid cafe. God, what do I do about money? This is terrible!

"(Y/N)?" A voice calls from behind me. I turn around and of course, it must be fate hating me, it's Black Star.

"Oh, hey, what's up?" I ask, swallowing my courage. I feel my face getting hot.

"Not much, really. You?"

"Haha, just still trying to get used to things here. It's a lot different from back home."

"How so?" We start walking together down the street and end up on a bench.

"Uh, there's a lot more people. And, honestly, I had a home-" I can't believe that just came out. Instead of covering it up I just hang my head down. "I guess there's no point lying, anyway."

"You don't have home? Where do you sleep?"

"Heheh. Yeah, I'm a dirty hobo. I usually sleep in allies or maybe something along the lines of that. Nasty, I know."

"Oh...you can stay with me if you want! I mean, of course a god like me is very caring." He crosses his arms, his head held high, and smiles.

I laugh. "No, it's fine. Really, I deserve to be on the streets. I never did anything right."

"What do you mean?"

"I-It's nothing." I hold back the tears and look up at the sky. "Really. But if you don't mind..."

He laughs and I stare back at him. "Well of course I don't mind!"

I smile I little. "T-thanks."

BLACK STAR'S POV:

"Well of course I don't mind!" I smile. She looks up at me and smiles sadly.

"T-thanks."

"No problem! So, um, you never answered about the, uh, note." I blush a little. I'm not usually like this. I'm all nervous and stuff. It's weird. I was panicking about whether she would reject me or not.

"I didn't? I'm sorry. I guess I was a bit busy. But I said yes."

"Cool! Wanna go back to my house?"

"Oh, right. Yeah."

2nd Person:

You and Black Star walk back to his apartment (tbh idk if it's an apartment or not, but whatever).

He opens the door and you were greeted by Tsubaki.

"Hello, welcome back! Hey, (Y/N)!" You wave quietly.

"(Y/N) is staying with us for now." Black Star says bluntly.

"Oh, that's great! But...why?" Black Star looks at me and you shake your head slowly.

"(Y/N) doesn't feel safe by herself." Tsubaki nods, visions of what happened just a days ago. You nod, looking away. You're just happy that Black Star didn't tell her. Of course you trust her, but you never know who's watching~
