-Xanphias POV-

I am sitting in the forest, I constantly go there to relax, and get away from the stress, Squid passed away 2 years ago leaving me as ruler and I have to get married soon because the kingdom has been demanding a king, His name is Ampyx, I don't even love him, the only one I had ever loved was Sky and I think of him everyday and I wish I didn't let him go, but it is against the law for me to see him, this is not the life I wanted but it is the life I must have.

As I walk around I see a little hut that seems so run down, it has vines growing on it and there is holes in the roof, it's were Jade lived, I wonder what happened to her. After staring at it for a while curiosity got the best of me and I walk in. it is so run down.

***Flash back***

"I'm fine just, just a bad dream" I say breathless, looking at the Sky, it is morning "Do you need to talk about it" she say as I sit up "N-no it's fine" at that point we she gives me some food "Eat up, you will need to walk back to the base today"

I stare around for a while until I hear something "Hello?" I quickly turn around to see...Sky standing there "Sky!" I say in shock, he looked the same as he did 4 years ago, I try to push past him and walk out the door until he grabs my wrist stopping me "Xanphia" I turn to look him in the eyes "What are you doing, we can not see each other" I say trying to pull away "I don't care, I never stopped loving you, and I still do" he says, I manage to snake my arm out of his grasp "Xanphia, your the ruler of the squid kingdom, you can destroy that contract and we can be with each other again, we can make a new kingdom" he says, I quickly turn to him "I'm getting married in 4 days, you had your chance" I try my best to walk away but he spins me around and presses his warm lips against mine, he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me close to him, it feels like butterflies burst in my stomach and my cheeks burn red hot. I wrap my arms around his neck and then I realise this is the one I have waited for.

I pull out after a few minutes "Xanphia, we can run away and start a new kingdom, no more wars, no more laws" he whispers to me "Where will we run" I ask still in his arms "That's for the future to know, and for us to find out" he says, then next thing I know we are out the door and we run... we don't know where but we run.

This isn't fair to my kingdom.
but all is fair in love and war
