Huffing he turned away from the group and began to pout, crossing his arms over his chest in a childish manner. There was no way they could've won that easily without cheating in some way or another, and every one else knew it, they were just to polite to tell her off. Marzia had that kind of affect on people after all. She certainly did on Dan, which is how he found himself no longer as upset as before in only a few seconds.

"I win! I win! Felix I did it!"

"I'm so proud of you girl!"

He giggled softly at their weird way of celebrating, lots of kisses and hugs, covering his mouth the cease the sounds that threatened to escape and become louder. And for a second he thought he was home free, but when he turned to look at his side, he knew Phil had saw, and heard, everything. The largest grin that he could produce was on his features as he looked at Dan. A pink blush stained his cheeks again as he looked down, smiling shyly.

"Ugh. Why don't you two just kiss already?"

"Marzia!"

"Come on Felix! Everyone is thinking it."

Though it was only the four of them in the entirety of the house, she knew he meant everyone down at the studio as well. Louise, PJ, and Chris. And to be quite honest, himself as well. He'd always wanted to, but didn't know if that was crossing the line, and it would only end up with his heart being crushed and him being pushed away forever from Phil. He couldn't bear the thought of that alone. Sighing, he shrugged up at the other. But he should've known by now that, that would never be a good enough answer for Marzia.

"I dare you two to kiss! No! No! Trouble dog dare you two! Come on! Come on! No backsies!"

Startled at her sentence, he looked at Phil quickly, then Felix, who only chuckled now. It was obvious he'd given up trying to quiet her down, besides, he wasn't really like that anyways. If Marzia wanted to be loud and commanding, he often let her do so. Looking back over at Phil, he realized his expression wasn't as surprised as it first had been, it almost looked like he'd come to terms with what she said and was almost. . . accepting of it. Such thoughts stained his cheeks again.

"I dunno Marzia, Dan isn't quite ready yet."

Blinking rapidly he looked at Phil with a glower, hissing at him. That was only partly true, the other half was him being rejected, or worse, thrown away. Besides, what if Phil thought he was weird? What if this was some kind of weird test to see what he would respond? They had been quite lovey dovey the past few months, almost an entire year now, but he still didn't know where they stood. Besides, is this really were he wanted to have his first kiss with Phil?

Maybe it was.

"Who said I'm not, Lester? You've just been to afraid to ask."

Smirking at him, he quirked a brow. He dared him to respond to that, any response would be questioned and analyzed by Marzia, who was currently staring at them both with concentration and hope in her eyes. And really, she wasn't the only one feeling hopeful. Swallowing thickly he cleared his throat and kept his brow quirked up at the other, the smirk never leaving his lips.

"W - well. . . What if I said I'm just scared of rejection?"

His answer was a whisper, and the smirk bent and fell off altogether and he went to Phil's side immediately, wrapping his arms around him, resting his head on his torso in the weird way they'd assigned comfort towards each other. He hadn't meant to make Phil upset, he was only teasing him. Well, he was only half teasing.

"Why in the hell would I reject someone as wonderful as you?"

Words were just spewing out now, and it was obvious they were more entertaining and interesting then a telly, because Marzia and Felix were watching them intensely, and they'd apparently gotten popcorn from somewhere. But right now was not the time to question such things. This was Marzia after all. Chuckling he leaned up and kissed his cheek, hearing Marzia squeal.

"B - but. . . wouldn't that be crossing a line neither of us are sure we should cro -"

Rolling his eyes he put his hand over his mouth, a sudden surge of confidence had come out of nowhere and he knew that if the didn't do it right now, he'd do nothing but make bullshit excuses of why he couldn't it at any other time. This was his only chance to do the one thing he'd been wanting to do for months.

He leaned in, and he soon felt Phil do the exact same thing, and he began to remove his hand. His heart beat sped up and the butterflies returned in a flurry and he almost couldn't believe this was about to happen. Which is exactly why it didn't. A large clap of thunder spooked him so much he jumped back and whimpered, he hated thunderstorms, and he'd obviously ruined the moment. He heard a groan escape both Felix and Marzia, but Phil's expression was concerned and he went over and wrapped his arms around Dan in a comforting manner.

"Hey Felix, can you turn on the telly? Let's see how long this storm is going to last."

With only a nod the Swedish man turned on the rather large telly, and turned it to the correct channel. And it was not looking good, it was a rather violent looking storm coming their way, and they seemed to be dead in the center of it. Dan only whimpered as he scooted closer towards Phil.

This evening had just gone from yes to distress.

But as long as he had Phil, he would be just fine. Right?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

A bit of a short chapter, I will admit. But the next will not disappoint, I promise. I know you were all rooting for that damn kiss to happen already. But I promise something big is going to with this storm, I do promise you that as well. Someone will get hurt, there might be death, who knows, accidents happen sometimes. . . Anyways, toodles!
