16. Their Reactions

Louis' P.O.V.

"Okay, as you all can see there is an envelope with your name on it. Well, they hold some very important information in them," I took a deep breath as everyone grabbed their envelopes.

Harry continues with, "well, on the count of three you guys can open them, one... two.... three..."

Time seemed to go by in slow motion as I waited to see the reaction of everyone, especially my mothers.

"I- are you guys expecting," Anne, Harry's mother, choked out as she held the picture close to her chest. 

"Yeah," I said, giving her an unsure grin, my heart is literally beating out of my chest right now.

Anne got up and walked over to give me a hug, calming my nerves just a tad bit, "Mom, don't cry," Harry told her as he rubbed her back.

"I can't help it, this is going to be my first grandchild. I'm beyond happy right now," everyone laughed at her statement, which began to calm my nerves even more.

"I hope it's a girl! "Daisy said which all of my sisters agreed, causing me to roll my eyes​. Of course, they want the baby to be a girl.

"I knew you guys were going to say that," I said laughing, my sisters came over and we did a group hug. All of them informing me that they want to be the ones to name the baby, and I can guarantee you that will not be happening.

Everyone congratulated us, except for my mother. She stayed at her seat drinking her wine watching everyone congratulate us. No one seemed to notice her absence, but I did.

I could feel my heart breaking into pieces, I don't want my mom to hate me. I need her guidance and advice during this time.

I didn't want to keep stressing myself out about what I think she is going to say to me. I decided to walk over to her and ask her if we could go speak in private and she agreed.

We walked into the family room sitting down on the couch and for a while neither one of us said anything.

After a while, I finally broke the depressing silence.

"I know that you hate me, but mom, I can't change what was meant to be. I honestly have been worrying myself sick thinking about if you are going to disown me for this, but I'm an adult, and- I'm sorry. I'm so sorr-," I couldn't hold back anymore, I was now completely sobbing.

"Louis, I could never hate you. I'm disappointed, but you are an adult. You and Harry have your own home and money. I can't control what you guys do. I want you to know that I'm going to be here for you every step of the way, but right now I need time to process this. I love you." She kissed my forehead and left me alone In the family room.

I don't know how long I was left there alone, but Harry eventually came into the room and sat next to me.

"I love you so much," he kissed me, placing me onto his lap.

" I love you too baby, where did everyone go?" I laid my head on his chest, rubbing my hand through his hair.

"They went home. I told them to just stop by tomorrow, 'because you aren't really feeling well', you know your mom will come around, she loves you too much to stay away."

"I know, it's just annoying that she didn't react the way everyone else did. She should think positively, you would never up and leave the baby and me. Her past will not be my future," I let out a deep sigh. Thinking about the situation makes me want to cry.

After being gone for business meetings for most of the day I am finally back at home, and the only thing I want to do right now is Louis. If you know what I mean.

I took my jacket and shoes off, placing my keys onto the table. I doubled checked to make sure the door was locked as I walked upstairs.

When I walked into the bedroom, I spot Louis laying down scrolling through his phone. He was wearing one of my shirts, with nothing most likely underneath.

"Hey baby," Louis said placing his phone onto the bedside table, watching as I get closer to him.

"You know, I'm not wearing anything under this shirt, and there is a bottle of lube right there," Louis says as he spread his legs open, to show me he was serious.

I stripped out of my clothing, grabbing the lube.
