~Shiro~

"The ship that crashed here, it'll have logs of prisoners and information," I explained before walking out to it, Pidge and Jinx following close behind.

"This looks like the main control system, but it's got no power," Jinx exclaimed as we flew in, she set her weapon on her hip.

"All we need is power, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah, but one that's compatible with Galra tech," Pidge added and I set my cyborg hand on the main frame, it lit up with power.

"Nice." Jinx smiled.

Is this the first time I've seen her smile?

A real smile, and not a fake one?

"My dad's and Matt's whereabouts must be logged in here somewhere, once I download it I'll find some way to decode it back at the castle," Pidge explained, pulling up a screen to download information.

Suddenly, I hear a loud boom, so does Jinx and we both look up to see a large ship heading our way.

"Oh no," I breathed out.

"What? What is it?" Pidge asked, mainly focused on the download.

"Something just entered the atmosphere, I'm not exactly sure what it is but it's big, it's Galra, and it's comin' right for us, let's go," I explained fast and Jinx had her hand close to her weapon, I tried to pull my hand away but Pidge wouldn't let me.

She's not planning on. . .fighting that thing, is she?

"Shiro, don't move, I'm only fifteen percent done, I'm not going anywhere," Pidge proclaimed, her expression serious.

I'm sorry Pidge.

"Pidge, I'm sorry," Pulling my hand away, I grabbed her by the waist and we took off into the air, Jinx close behind.

"No!" Pidge screamed.

"Team, we need backup, I repeat, we need backup-"

"Ugh, you stupid chain!"

Looking back, I see Jinx, her weapon got stuck in between some debris and my eyes widened as I set Pidge down, away from it.

"Jinx! No! Hold on!" I shouted, fear racing through me as I ran towards her, she got her weapon unstuck.

We...we're alive?

"Our lions, they saved us, but what about. . ." I trailed off, astonished to see them over us protectively, but then my eyes widened at the explosion and how close she was to it.

"Jinx! Jinx! Can you hear me?!" I screamed, sadness starting to overwhelm me when I didn't hear her reply back.

"Sh. . .Shiro, she's dead, she's gone!" Pidge put her hands over her mouth and started to sob.

We only knew for for two days, but she held pride and confidence within her, she wanted to take down Zarkon, and she died.

Jinx. . .no. . .

Suddenly, the ship collapsed and revealed a giant. . .no.

I remember now, it's the same thing I fought to save Matt. . .

~Jinx~

"Ugh, you stupid chain!" My weapon that I had on my hip got caught on some debris, since this is a broken ship, and it also got caught in my outfit so I couldn't run if I wanted.

"Jinx! No! Hold on!" He shouted, setting Pidge down and running for me, but I felt a sudden rush of heat on my face and knew, right then and there.

I'm going to die.

My last moments weren't going to be of me crying, so I dropped my weapon and closed my eyes, waiting for the impact.

It was nice here, I hope I'll see these idiots again someday.

A sudden crash was heard and it struck me, I cried out in pain and ended up crashing into the hard ground, feeling blood starting to come out of my arm's and legs.

But then, there was nothing.

Am I. . .dead?

Carefully, I stood up and the moment my feet touched the ground, the scene around me was filled into my head.

How am I not dead?!

Looking around me, I see a ship in front of me and start to get light headed, and fall to the ground once again.

Then, apart of the ship goes tumbling towards me and I shield myself with my arm's, only to feel no pain?!

I gasped when my mind showed me my mark on my forehead glowing, a force field around me.

Wh-what?!

I can worry about this. . .later. . .

I remember that monster, and. . .wait, I remember something else too.

I knew Shiro, I knew him as 'Champion' and met him once, but why don't I remember meeting him?

Was it because of Cryo. . .?

I blacked out.

________________

"Champion? What an idiotic name." I scoffed, walking down a hall with two Galra guards.

"Well, we kinda had nothing else to call him, your mistress," One of them replied and I stopped at 'Champions' room.

"I want to speak with him. . .alone," I hissed and they nodded before running off somewhere else and I stepped in.

"Wh-who are you?! Get away!"

Some Champion.

The scenery filled my head and revealed a young man, black hair with a white blotch of hair in the front, a Cyborg arm made from Galra tech, a scar across his nose, and pretty attractive.

"I am Jinx, second in command, what's your real name. And that's an order, not a request," I demanded from him and he slowly stood up.

"Takashi, Takashi Shirogane-"

"Shiro then, hm? Yup, Zarkon told me, I just wanted to see if you would lie," I explained before leaning against the doorframe.

"And if I did lie?" He asked carefully and I let out a chuckle.

"Don't worry, I'm not a sicko, I'd just ask you again, and again." I explained.

"You won't. . .h-hurt me?" He stuttered.

"Nope, I want to know you, Shiro," I replied before sitting down next to him.

"Why the sudden interest in me?"

"Jesus, you ask way too many questions for a Galra prisoner," I groaned and he chuckled.

"I'm interested because. . .well, let's just say the Galra men here aren't human, and aren't as attractive as you," I answered and a faint blush appeared on his cheeks.

"No need to be nervous, I'll see you around. . .Shiro." I exclaimed, getting up.

"Bye. . .Jinx." He said.
