Aubrey's point of view
"I love you" said a voice. it wasn't kings who was it?
I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't fight the heaviness.
"wake up Bree its been 25 hours you've had an extra hour"
I fought as hard as I could and finally my eyes opened and fluttered shut again I pushed them open. Mabel.
"T" I exclaimed and hugged her. "what happened ? weren't you with other tea?" I asked
tears poored down her cheeks
"no"
"it was a career, but its ok" she said
the next week was spent recovering and hunting, having Mabel with us was very useful.
finally some new tributes came into the arena , none came for us. there were clearly some very vicious people in these games. I have never seen so many names in the sky. nearly all of the original tributes were gone. only a career, and us, held out
the sun seemed to beam hotter everyday the game makers wanted us to do something interesting.
but what they had in mind was unexpected.
so sorry its so short but I have homework and little is better than none!! I will do a long chapter soon!
