Chapter 18

Elizabeth's POV

Why the hell am I so stupid? I shouldn't have even gone to see him in the first place. I can't believe I actually thought anything involving him would be serious. Nothing's serious with him anymore.
Though one thing I can't figure out for sure is why he would bring me there. He knows how important that place is for the both of us so he wouldn't stoop that low for nothing. Johann's smart, and even smart is an understatement. If he wants something he'll think things through a thousand times before going after it. Now I'm not even sure what the hell he really wants but what scares me is that I know he'll get it.

I brush the thoughts out of my head and focus on dialing Joel's number. We already spoke about everything that happened yesterday and I'm glad to say we're on good terms. Although you wouldn't be if he found out you went to go see him alone. My subconscious adds and I quickly push the thought to the back of my mind. Nobody needs to know about tonight because nothing happened, it was nothing.

"Hey," My brother's tired voice rings from the other line.

"Hey. Long day?" I ask him and I can already sense him crashing down onto the bed.

"Extremely. But it's worth it since its all I've ever wanted." He says and I smile. It really is all he's ever wanted which makes me happy for him.

"I'm happy for you, Joelito. So the recording's tomorrow at 11 in the morning right?" I reassure.

"Yep," He chimes. "Oh and speaking about tomorrow, I heard you and Sebastian are going out but don't worry I accepted. Don't tell him I told you this but he's super excited and kinda freaking out a bit." He chuckles. I giggle to myself but immediately frown when I remember he cancelled.

"That's cute but we aren't going out." I tell him and turn on the tv. A rerun of the Mexico vs Brazil World Cup game pops up on the screen which cheers me up a little.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Joel asks. Well clearly Sebastian didn't mention anything.

"He cancelled. Don't make a big deal about it though I know you guys are really busy." I assure him.

"What the hell he was so excited though?" My brother claims. I'm too tired for this conversation.

"I don't know. I guess we'll just plan something else when your guys' schedule clears up a bit." I shrug and lie down on the bed.

"Alright, little sis. As long as you're okay." He sighs.

"Joel I've told you like 50 times to stop calling me 'little sis'. We're twins!" I playfully shout into the phone and I can hear him laugh from the other line.

"And those 50 times I've told you that I'm 6 minutes older than you." He retorts and I can picture his signature side smile plastered on his face right about now.

"Whatever. Goodnight." I chuckle and hang up the call.

I shut off the light of the lamp and revert my attention back to the game. After a few minutes, I fall into a deep sleep.

Joel's POV

"Whatever. Goodnight." My sister laughs and hangs up the call. I smirk and place my phone on the nightstand.

"Really?" Yoandri's voice pops up from the bed next to mine. He's staring down at his phone while scrolling through his Twitter feed.

"Really what?" I ask and turn over to look at him.

"Seba is totally into Liz. Do you really think he would just cancel like that?" He states. Now that I think about it, he does have a point. It's not like we're that busy tomorrow. We only have the recording in the morning and the rest of the day we're free. Plus, Sebastian is head over heels for Elizabeth.

"Hm you're right. Wait where even is he?" I question. "I didn't even notice he left."

"He told me he was going down to the lobby. I don't know for what though." He tells me while plugging the charger into his phone. I stand from the bed and shove my phone and room card into my pocket.

"Alright I'm gonna go talk to him," I sigh. Yoandri nods at me and I walk out of the room. I make my way over to the elevator and head down to lobby.

When I step out, I search around the lobby and find Sebastian purchasing a coffee. Wait, two coffees. I furrow my brows and continue walking slowly over to him. He doesn't seem to notice me just yet considering he walks away over to the couches. He hands one of the coffees to a light haired girl next to him and hugs her tightly afterwards.
My blood immediately starts to boil and my instincts lead me to storm over to him.

"Really Sebastian? So you cancel on my sister and come do this?" I hiss. He quickly turns to look at me and raises his right brow. The girl seeming confused as well.

"Joel what are you-" He begins to speak but I immediately cut him off.

"Save it. Do me a favor and stop leading Elizabeth on, would ya?" I shoot and start walking away. If I stayed any longer I swear I would've punched that kid in the face.

"What the hell did I do?" He yells back at me before I reach the elevator. He can't be serious. I take a deep breath and angrily walk back over.

"You're kidding right? You cancel your date with my sister claiming you're too busy and then I catch you here with another girl." I gesture to the clueless blue eyed girl still sitting on the couch. He seems taken aback at first but then slowly catches on. After a while he lets out a small laugh and shakes his head.

"Joel, meet my sister, Natalie." Seba clears up and realization quickly strikes me. I widen my eyes and mentally face palm myself. Natalie stands and extends her hand to me while stifling a laugh.

"I'm sorry it's just a brotherly instinct." I apologize as I shake Natalie's hand.

"It's alight," She smiles. "Seba would do the same for me."

I give her a curt nod and turn to Sebastian.

"Ok dude well that was awkward I'm sorry. I'll let you catch up with your sister." I gently slap his shoulder and he chuckles.

"It's cool bro, I can see where you're coming from. I'll be up in a few minutes."

I nod at him and make my way back up to the room. Once I reach the door I realize that I never did get the chance to ask him why he cancelled. I brush it off and decide to just ask him later.

Holla. So in this witty chapter which sucked balls I introduced Natalie who I have great plans for. From the ideas that I have she's actually gonna be one of my favorite characters and hopefully one of your guys' too.
