secret wings

chapter 4

As we started to walk we heard a low grumbling sound and a crack formed next to us. It opened and down in the crack was lava, I could feel the heat on my face as I looked down.

A little further ahead there was a pool of lava and I felt a tingle in my fingers.

I asked the others if they felt the tingle and they all said no, I wonder what's happening to me.

When we got to the pool of lava we were all melting.

We stood there a few minutes thinking how we would get across then Angela pointed to the far side to our right and spotted a path.

We carefully walked across the path while talking to each other.

"I mean only vampires can control fire." Jason said.

"So I might have a vampire in my family?" I asked.

"Maybe generations ago because only vampires and humans love vampires, but if it was human, the child would be human. So it's a possibility that your great-great-great more greats grandparents on your dad's side was a vampire." Jason explained. "Because in century's vampires have only loved vampires."

"But what if a vampire loved a winged about 20 years ago?"

"You might be right there Lily." Angela said, "it is said that only the royal vampires can control lava and fire so what if her dad's the vampire Prince."

"Don't be ridiculous Angela." me and Jason said together.

When we reached the other side of the pond we saw a lake, with water not lava. So me and Angela started running to it then I stopped and pulled Angela back.

"What was that for Lily?" Angela moaned.

"Its doesn't feel right." I say. Then I felt the water and closed my eyes to concentrate. After a minute I jumped back in pain. "Ouch! That's lava not water."

"I get it now. Jason says.

"Get what?" me and Angela say together.

"It's not what it seems. This must be what the voice ment."

"You know what I think your right." I say hugging him. "Look there's another bridge."

This bridge was even more dangerous. It was thinner and it has some holes in it. Time to time so lava even sprayed at us but it felt like water till it started warming up and burning our skin off.

Safely on the other side I we saw another poll of lava than a poll of water. This lava made me feel safe and cold. I went up and touched it like I did with the lava.

"Its water!" I say excitedly. "Come on!"

So me and Angela swim while Jason is on my back so he doesn't lose us or drown.

The pool of water was a pool of water but it was like an ocean. So we turbo swimmed it so we could get the in an hour in stead of five hours.

We got out and dried ourselves off then looked up. It was a door with an F on it, probably meaning Futpoia.

"Well what are we waiting for." Jason said opening the door to let us in.

I just stood there in shock. Never in my life have I seen something as beautiful as this place. It made me never want to leave.

We walked up to a palace and walked in. The first thing I saw was three people talking. They turned when they heard the door open.

"Your majestues." Angela and Jason said bowing. So I bowed and nodded my head.

Jason was the first to speek saying, "princess Lydia, I have done what you have asked me to do. Here is princess Lily."

Then princess Lydia opened her eyes, began to cry and ran at me and pulled me into a hug so I hugged her back. "Oh my god. My daughter. Your safe. I was so worried. I never wanted to leave you but I did to keep you save from your father. You do understand."

"Yes I do. Are you really my mum? " I ask. She nods her head. "I knew you were still alive mum. I never doubted it."

We were talking for hours before going to sleep. When i finally got to sleep, I was dreaming about my mum, my family, and Jason. We still haven't told them that we're dating but that was our plan tomorrow.

I then heard a knock at my bedroom door and it opened to reveal Jason.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey." I reply.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

"Of course you can silly." I say budging over to make room for him on my bed.

"I was gonna wait until your sixteenth birthday but that's just a couple of weeks away so I though I would give you one of your present tonight." He says climbing into bed with me.

"You didn't have to get me anything babe."

"Oh but I did. It a basically from all of us." He hands me a box. I open it and see a beautiful necklace. "Its the royal stone so every one knows you're part of the royal family."

"Thank you so much Jason." I say hugging him then I kissed him. It was just like our first kiss, so long we lost track of time but we did stop every couple of minutes for some air but then continued. When we finally gave yo I looked at the clock.

"Hey guess what?" I say.

"What?" Jason asks.

"We were kissing for an hour."

"Your joking."

"Nope. Look for yourself." I say. Then Jason leaned over me to looked and he froze in shock. So I pushed him back and cuddled up to him to get him out of freeze shock. "You wouldn't be acting like this if your loved me." I say with puppy dog eyes.

"I do love you it's just didn't feel that long, and I bet you wouldn't mind doing it another time will you."

"I would happily do thing whenever." I say kissing him then falling asleep.
