Will woke up in a bed. An actual bed. At first he thought he was back in the castle. He found himself disappointed when he found he wasn't. Instead, he was in Nico's bedroom. He looked around, frowning slightly. He wasn't laying on a pillow....instead....OH GODS.

Nico was asleep, his arms wrapped around Will. Will's head was on his chest as his own arms were wrapped around Nico's neck. He shifted slightly, reaching up and moving some hair from Nico's peaceful, sleeping face. Pain exploded through Will's arm, causing him to yelp and bury his face in Nico's chest, eyes watering. A whimper escaped Will's lips.

Nico shifted again and opened his eyes, looking around. He blushed when he saw Will on his chest. He reached up and stroked his blonde curls. Will looked up at him, lips quivering slightly. From pain, fear, anxiousness. Nico must've realized how awkward it was for Will, being held in bed by a male. He slowly rolled up his sleeve, looking at the blood soaked bandages on his bicep. Will looked to the bandages and frowned, suddenly remembering what had happened.

will sat up shakily, crawling off the bed and standing. "Careful, Will...." Nico muttered before watching him sprint out of the house.

Will ran as fast as he could out of Nico's home. He had no idea where he was going or where to go but still he ran. "Will!" Shouted a voice behind him. He turned and saw Nico running towards him, looking worried. Will stopped running and turned towards him, glaring.

"What the Hades were you thinking?!" Will demanded. Nico stopped running when he caught up to him.

"The Apothecary was full. So I took you to my house and let you rest there. You started mumbling in your sleep last night and asked me to lay with you. You're in charge so what else was I supposed to do? When I laid with you, you started cuddling me."

Will slowly stood up and sighed. He couldn't think straight as he walked out, shutting the door behind him. "Will!" Nico shouted from the bedroom. Will ignored him and ran out of the house, out onto the busy streets of the kingdom. He ran down the street, breathing heavily. "Will!" Nico was running after him.

Will stopped and turned to him. "Alright. I'm done." He snapped, glaring.

"Done?" Nico whimpered.

"I don't know what's happening here, but it needs to stop. This whole thing, it's just...not good." Will had tears rushing down his face. He was trying not to sob. Nico stared at him, lip quivering.

"William!" Shouted a voice behind them. Will frowned and turned, blinking when he saw Annabeth and Percy running towards them.

"Yeah?" He frowned.

"Uh, we...." Percy started saying before looking at Nico.

"He's fine. He can hear. He knows." Will said, putting a hand on Nico's shoulder, causing him to flinch.

Percy nodded. "Alright, well, there's a problem. The Romans. They...they found out. They know where you are and are planning on something to take you out. So, uh....we're taking you to your father's sister's kingdom. Kynis."

Will slowly blinked. "Aunt Artemis wants to see me?"

Annabeth nodded. "We have a carriage waiting outside kingdom's borders. Let's go." She grabbed his hand and started pulling him away.

Nico grabbed Will's other hand. "Wait! I'm coming, too." Will frowned and turned to him, shaking his head.

"Look, we can't take anyone else." Percy frowned. Nico looked to Will, almost pleadingly.

"Then I'm not going." Will pulled away from Annabeth.

"William, you can't just-" Annabeth blinked.

"I said that Nico comes, or I don't." Will's voice hardened.

Annabeth and Percy exchanged glances. "Then I guess you're coming with."

About a week passed before the kingdom of Kynis came into view. It was early in the morning, the sun just starting to rise. Nico had fallen asleep, his head on Will's shoulder. Despite his outburst a few days before, he didn't mind. Will rested his head against Nico's, lacing his fingers with his.

Annabeth and Percy were walking on each side of the carriage, holding their weapons at the ready for safety. Will reached over and shut the curtain behind the window. Within about fifteen minutes, Percy knocked on the door. "Your Majesty?" He called. "We've arrived."
