Kun and the Thousand Paper Cranes

Chapter 1 - Chimera

It's so warm. Is this really where I belong? I thought. I could feel a gentle breeze touch my face. It's so peaceful here. I'm afraid that if I open my eyes it will all disappear.

"Wake up, you shouldn't sleep here. It's not safe." I heard a fammiliar voice say. I know I've heard the voice before, but I don't remember when. I slowly opened my eyes, and sat up. I turned around to look at the person who disturbed me... No way! Before me stood Kakashi Hatake! My eyes widened.

"Where am I?" I said. I knew this wasn't a dream, but is this really where I belong?

"You are two kilometers away from the gates of Konoha. Why where you sleeping here?" he answered.

"I don't know. I remember being at home, folding paper cranes, and then I wake up here." I said. I probably shouldn't say that I'm from a different dimension, and that I'm here because I wished to be where I belong. He would think I'm crazy.

"Can I talk to the hokage?" I said. Maybe he would be able to understand.

"Sure." he said. I could hear in his voice that he was still suspicious of me. I looked around me to see if my bag was here. It was.

We walked through the forest without saying anything to eachother. When whe walked through the gates Izumo and Kotetsu stared at me. I stared back, and then I smiled. We continued to walk, and I could see the hokage monument, and the hokage building. While we walked I looked through my bag. I had my ipod and some money in it, but there was also a red envelope in the bottom of my bag. I don't remember putting it there. I could feel that Kakashi was staring at me, and it was very disturbing. I carfully picked the envelope out of my bag.

"Did you put this in my my bag while I were sleeping?" I said. He shook his head and we continued to walk. I looked at the envelope again and then I shrugged and opened it. Inside it was a letter.

Dear Kun.

If you're reading this it means that you're back where you belong. You are a part of the Kimera clans main house and the only Kimera left in this world. Eleven years ago, the branch house declared war against the main house and terrible things happened. Our clan has the ability to copy every technique and jutsu, even kekkei genkais, by just touching a person who uses that technique or getting their DNA. Our battle became dangerous so the hokage had ordered for the Kimera clan to be eliminated, but before they could get to you I used my last bit of chakra sent you to another dimension. When you read this, talk with the hokage and show him this letter.

"Kakashi, do you know anyone named Ai Kimera?" I said.

"She was a part of the Kimera clans main household. Her whole clan got slaughtered eleven years ago, though." he said

We were in front of the hokage building now. We continued to walk until we reached the hokages office. We stopped in front of the door, and Kakashi knocked.

"Come in." I could hear the hokage say, and we walked inside. I held out the letter for the hokage, and I started to cry. I don't even know why I am crying. I never knew my mother, she was never there for me. But I knew that I was unfair, she used the last bit of her strength to save me. He took the letter and read it. Then he walked over to me and hugged me, it felt weird but I hugged back.

"Kakashi, lead her to an empty apartment she can use and get her some new clothes, the ones she has now look terrible. And get Asuma and Kurenai to come here after that." said the hokage.

"Hai! Hokage sama." Kakashi said. Then he grabbed my shoulder and we walked out of the room.

I stood in 'my' apartment and stared out the window. I should probably go and change clothes. It feels like this is a dream. I woke up to find myself in narutoverse and now I know I'm a princess whose clan was slaughtered. I don't believe Hiruzen ordered for the Kimera clan to be slaughtered, it was probably Danzō. I walked away from the window and grabbed the small package containing my new clothes that Kakashi gave me. I quickly changed, and I have to say, It actually looked good on me. The scars on my left arm is still visible though. They are from when I was abused by my foster parents. I don't really care though, they make me look cool.

I walked outside and walked through the streets. I was just looking around. Before Kakashi left he told me that I was going to join the academy. I heard some screams and then someone ran into me.

"Ouch that hurt." a very, very familiar voice said. Before me stood, no, sat Naruto Uzumaki! I smiled and held out my hand. He looked at me and gladly took it.

"The name's Kun." I said as we started to run away from the people chasing him.

"Mine's Naruto, and I'm gonna become the hokage one day! Believe it!" he said and laughed. I looked behind us. They where getting closer, there were even some anbu chasing us.

"Hey, I haven't seen you before, and you have a weird name, are you new here?" Naruto asked.

"Yep!" I said, popping the p.

"I just got here today!" I continued. They were getting real close now. I just noticed that I'm able to keep up with Naruto. He has been a ninja his whole life, while I just got here today. I'm getting a little tired though.

"Quick, here!" I said and pulled him around a corner and made a handsign.

"Shadow clone jutsu!" I said quietly, and two clones that looked exactly like me popped up. I focused on one and imagined it transforming into Naruto. Another poof and now I had two clones that looked identical to us before me. And then the clones ran away.

"That. Was. AWESOME!" I said after the anbu and other ninjas ran past us.

"Believe it!" he said, and we laughed. Then I looked up at the sky, the sun was setting.

"Hey Naruto, I need to go home now. See you at the academy tomorrow, 'kay?" I said.

"Yeah! See you tomorrow! Believe it!" he said, and I turned around and ran back to my apartment.

I basically threw myself on to the bed and grabbed my ipod. Somehow there were WiFi here, I won't question anything tough. I rewatched the first to fifth episode of naruto, I want to be sure I know what's going to happen. I thought to myself.

Meep. That was the first chappy! I want to get to the fun stuff where all the fighting happens, so I shall begin to write the next chapter immediately! The idea about the Kimera clan was something I came up with when I watched FMA, and I was kinda small then. But I used the idea, because why the heck not?

A main household Kimera can copy every technique from anyone. Ex, Kun touches Naruto, getting his DNA, after that she is able to use the shadow clone jutsu. But if Naruto learns the rasengan after that, she wont be able to do the rasengan until she gets more of his DNA. A branch household Kimera needs to acquire more DNA for this to work for them. A Kimera still needs the chakra or skill to do the jutsu, though.
