Sonic X Reader -Blossoming Love-

     A blue blur took his usual run throughout the city, causing wind to blow things over. You growled because, once again, your napkins and plate of food would fly up, and smack you in the face. As you tried to wipe the food off your face, you tried to think of a way to stop the blue blur from running around. You stood up, getting ready to leave the coffee shop that you loved coming to so often. They had the best coffee and snacks, but you could never enjoy it with the blur's constant wind knocking things over.
     You walked home, hoping to stop the blue mysterious blue from running about on the way back. Suddenly, you had a stroke of luck. The blue blur raced about close by, heading up the street you were walking. You cleared your throat. "Hey! Stop a moment. Why do you keep running around so much? The wind you create always knocks over my stuff when I'm sitting outside the coffee shop," you explained as you tap your foot.
     The blur came to a halt, and you gasped. He was a blue hedgehog with emerald green eyes and a killer smile. He scratched his head nervously and chuckled a bit. "Sorry about that. I'm, Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive. You see, I just love running and having adventures is all. I didn't mean for it to knock your things over," he said apologetically. After you understood what he said, you smiled.
     "And I'm (y/n). I forgive you, Sonic. Just please try to be a little more cautious of others next time," you say kindly. Sonic nodded and gave you a thumbs up as approval. "Got cha! I'll be more careful next time," he said. Suddenly, Sonic sped off into the distance, while heeding your advice.

     It has been three weeks since you had met Sonic, but you hadn't seen him since. You sat at the outside coffee shop table and tapped your fingers nervously. "I hope he's not actually mad at me or avoiding me. I never wanted him to stop running," you say sadly. Suddenly, a voice calls to you. "Hey, (y/n)! Long time no see," Sonic says, halting in front of your table. You look to him in surprise.
     "Sonic! Where were you? You hadn't run passed here for three weeks. I was worried you were mad at me or something," you say softly, looking down. Sonic grins and takes your hand in his. "I wasn't around because I was traveling the world. I couldn't get you out of my head ever since I met you so," he began, then holding out his hand with a gift in it, "I traveled the world to find a flower that is as beautiful as you".
     You gasp and take the flower in hand. You hold it close and look at Sonic sweetly. "Thanks, Sonic. It's so beautiful," you say, looking at the flower. Suddenly, Sonic lifted your chin and made you face him. "Not as beautiful as you, (y/n)," He said, winking at you. A light pink shaded your cheeks. You felt so happy, so you pulled Sonic into a hug. Sonic hugged back, then kissed you softly on the cheek.
