"Ah yeah! The King is back, baby!" Scourge said as he walked into Sora's house. Sora giggled a bit and lounged back on her couch as she wagged her wolf tail. She was a half hedgehog and half wolf who was friends with Scourge for awhile now. "Enjoy your vacation?" She asked. Scourge came over and plopped onto the couch. He lifted his shades and grinned. "You betcha' I did," he said, lounging back into the cushions. Sora smiled. She wasn't much of a talker, but she enjoyed spending time with Scourge.
"Hey, I'm going to the bar later to meet some friends. Wanna come?" Scourge asked. Sora thought about it then shook her head. She knew there was always some sort of trouble at the bars, and sometimes Scourge was the cause of it. "No thanks. I'm good," she said. Scourge shrugged and laid his head unto his crossed arms that were behind his head. Suddenly, a question popped into Sora's mind.
"Who are you going to meet? Is it...Fiona?" She asked. "Hm?" Scourge hummed questionably. He looked over at her and lifted a brow. "No. Why do you ask?" He asked. Sora gulped. "No reason. Just was curious is all," she said, looking at her feet. "Okay, whatever you say," Scourge said as he closed his eyes. Sora sighed and looked up at Scourge. She had a crush on him for years but knew that Fiona also liked him. They would constantly bicker, without Scourge knowing, about who was better.

"I'm leaving. See ya!" Scourge said as he left. He closed the door and walked down the porch steps. As he walked, he shoved his hands into his leather jacket pockets. Meanwhile, Sora watched him from the window and wagged her tail then lowered it. She sighed, and walked back to her couch. As she sat in thought, she looked at the ceiling. 'I want to tell him how I feel, but I'm too shy to tell him. Besides...I'm probably not good enough', she thought to herself.
About an hour passes and Sora felt impatient. "I'm going to tell him," she said as she jumped to her feet. Butterflies filled her stomach as she thought about what she would say. With a deep breath, she then exited the house. She tried walking confidently down the street, and she was doing great. That is until, she saw Fiona standing outside the loud bar, trying to make a call before entering. She looked irritated, unable to get ahold of someone. Suddenly, the two girls made eye contact.
Fiona growled and flicked her tail angrily. She knew Sora was probably there to see Scourge, like she was. "What are you doing here?" She snarled. Sora groaned on the inside but plastered on a fake smile. "Just going to the bar," she answered. Fiona didn't look impressed. She came closer to Sora and got in her face. "Going to go see Scourge?" She asked. Sora sweated a bit but thought that she didn't have to be afraid of her. "So what if I am?" She asked. Fiona growled and smirked. "Yeah well, he'll NEVER fall for you because I'm here to throw on the charm to win his heart! Ha! Even if you tried it still wouldn't work because let's face the facts, I am FAR more attractive than you!" Fiona said. Sora bit her tongue. She wasn't usually one to let Fiona's rude comments get to her. "Y-yeah well at least I have a FAR better personality than you! That's what really counts," Sora snapped back.
"Why you little!" Fiona growled as she then lunged at Sora. They were knocked to the ground and Fiona started hitting and punching Sora. Sora tried blocking her hits but Fiona was too quick. Suddenly, she forced herself up and reversed the position and started hitting Fiona. The fight continued and everyone in the bar could hear the commotion so they went outside to look. Scourge even looked surprised while he tried looking over everyone else's shoulders. Everyone could tell that Fiona was winning even though Sora was trying her hardest to fight. Suddenly, Sora was punched in the stomach, upper-cutted to the chin then kicked in the face. It happened so fast that she didn't have time to defend herself. She then fell on the ground unconscious.
Everyone gasped and some cheered while clapping. "You morons! Get back in there!" Scourge snapped and everyone left, returning to the bar. He ran over to Sora's side with a worried look and tried shaking her awake. He then growled and looked at Fiona. "She deserved it, Hon! She didn't have a chance! Now, why don't you and I-," Fiona was then cut off by Scourge slapping her hard in the face. He never usually did something like that to her but he felt she deserved it. He was too angry to snap back at her so he picked Sora up and ran off back to her place to take care of her.

Time had passed and Sora finally started waking up. Her red eye and blue eye fluttered open but her vision was blurry. She then saw a green figure sitting on the couch next to her. "W-where am I?" She asked quietly. "You're safe at home. You were badly hurt, but I helped ya out," the figure said. Sora recognized the voice to be Scourge's. She was happy yet embarrassed to know that he was there and that he saw the whole thing. "Don't mind my askin', Toots, but why were you two fighting?" He asked curiously as he lounged back.
Sora gulped and blushed a bit but hid it as she hides her face in a pillow. Scourge lifted a brow and bent over to pat her shoulder as if to say 'It's alright, Toots! You can tell me'. Sora then sighed and spoke in the pillow, but her words were muffled. "We were fighting over who would win your...heart," she said. Scourge's ears flick up. "What was that? Your words are being muffled," he said as he scratched his head. Sora then sits up to face him, though it hurt to sit up. "I said we were fighting over you," she said. Scourge lifted a brow. "Over me huh? Why's that?" He asked. Sora then took a big breath.
"We were fighting to see who would win you over!" She blurted out. She then pulled in her legs and hugged them, then buried her face into her knees. She didn't care how much she was hurting from her injuries, she just wanted to hide her face from Scourge, afraid that he didn't feel the same. Scourge actually looked a bit shocked! He knew Fiona liked him but not Sora. He then smiled and pulled Sora into a hug. She was surprised but stayed in his arms and placed her head on his chest. "Wanna know something that Fiona doesn't know, but will soon find out?" He said with a smile in a slightly soft voice.
Sora nodded as she gripped his leather jacket, hugging him back still. Suddenly, he came close to her ear. "I've been in love with you for awhile now. I didn't know how ya felt so...I kept it to myself. I really mean that," he whispered. Sora's face opens in surprise with a huge blush on her cheeks. "R-really?" She asked softly. Scourge slightly chuckled and pulled her in closer and rubbed her back. "Really! Let me prove it to ya, Toots," Scourge said as he then lifted her chin to face him. He grinned and looked at her with a loving half lidded gaze. Sora blushed madly as Scourge leaned in. He suddenly placed his warm lips on hers. He kissed her passionately and applied some pressure. Sora soon melted into the kiss and kissed back, trying to match the pressure. Scourge blushed and smiled then softly bite her lip.
Sora was a bit nervous but let him have access as she parted her lips a bit. After a minute or two, they pulled back, panting a bit for air. "You're a great kisser, babe!" Scourge said with a wink.  He then pecked her cheek and whispered in her ear. "Wanna be my gal?" He asked. With a big smile on her face, as she waved her tail, Sora nodded happily. She hugged Scourge tight. "Thank you for helping with my injuries. I love you," she said softly. Scourge smiled. "No problem, and I love you too, Sora!" He replied, as he kissed her forehead, happy for her to be his gal.
