okay i'm sorry, enjoy
Luke's car was fairly clean, with occasional change in the cup holders in between us. His seats were comfy, and the car was warm. Bring Me The Horizon played softly through the speakers.
I was still in fear over the earlier events, but I was at a loss for words. My hands were still trembling and my mind kept replaying the moments over and over. Luke was angry. And I didn't know why. I started to like Collin before he put me in front of him. Right in front of the tornado. I squeezed my eyes tight, trying to get rid of the thoughts.
"Did he hurt you?" Luke asked delicately. His piercing blue eyes remained on the quiet road in front of him, his hands gripping the steering wheel. His jaw was still clenched, and he was very beautiful.
"N-no." I said trying to hide the fear, but it didn't work. Luke's expression stayed the same.
"What did Collin do to you to make you not like him?" I asked in almost a whisper. Luke sighed, running his free hand through his hair, the car slowly speeding up.
"Just stay away from him okay? He's bad news and I don't want to have to follow you around to keep your ass safe." He said as if I asked him to protect me.
"I never asked you to keep me safe. I can take care of myself." I snapped, surprised by the sudden rush of anger flow through me. I stared out the window in front of me with a hard glare. What he said made me angry. He chuckles quietly.
"Righttt, you can take care of yourself. Last time I checked, you were scared of me." I turned to look at him. He had a smirk, his eyes were dark.
"I'm not scared of you. I'm not scared of anyone. And yes, I can take care of myself I'm not 5. And why the hell do you even care all you've been is a douchebag to me." I didn't know where this fire came from but it filled my throat. I was very angry and I just wanted to slap his perfect face.
"I'm a douchebag for saving you?" He asked turning and raising an eyebrow. His eyes met mine and my heart erupted in butterflies. His eyes were still dark, but still mesmerizing. He was killing me, without doing anything but looking at me.
"Saving me from what?! Collin? Because Collin wasn't doing anything to me. You were going to hurt me. If the boys didn't come save me, you would've hurt me!" I said angrily raising my arms above my head glaring at him. His smirk dropped and the car sped up more.
"I wouldn't have hurt you." He replied quietly with a clenched jaw. "Uh, pretty sure I was in your way." I snapped resting my arms on my lap, "whatever, turn here." I said. He turned the car and the headlights shined on the yellow garage. I opened the car door and slammed it and headed up to my front door. I opened it and noticed my mom wasn't down here. I stormed up to my room and fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to someone looking through my CDs. I peeled my eyes open to see the back of Calum."What are you doing here?" I asked rubbing the tiredness from my eyes. He turned around smiling at me cheekily. He was holding my ACDC CD.
"Morning Carter! How did you sleep?" He asked happily. I groaned remembering the events of last night.
"Ugh last night actually happened didn't it?" I asked nervous about the answer. Calum crossed my room and sat at the end of my bed, putting his hand on my shin.
"I'm sorry Carter." I could see the sympathy in his eyes. "It's whatever. What are you doing here?" I asked again.
"You weren't answering your phone and I wanted to make sure you're alright" He answered giving me a small smile. I was thankful to have a good friend like him.
"Hey, what did you and Luke talk about?" He asked as I stood up and crossed the room to the bathroom. I pinned my hair up and leaned out to look at him. I told him everything.
About an hour or so later, Calum left. And I was alone. The events of last night kept washing over me, I needed to escape. I threw on a tee shirt and jeans and headed outside.
When I got outside, I saw a boy with brown hair leaning against my car, Collin.
"Hey Carter! You didn't say goodbye to me last night." He said smiling warmly, like nothing happened.
"Yeah, I guess I was just tired, sorry." I answered quietly standing in front of him. His tall body leaned against the passenger door.
"So I forgot to ask," He said pushing off the car and coming closer to me. "Would you want to go out with me tonight?" He said, looking down at him. His breath smelled like stale coffee. I thought about the events of last night, but decided against my better judgment and said yes.
He smiled, "Great! How about I get you tonight at 7, and we can get to know each other." I nodded in agreement, he said goodbye and headed to his car behind mine. He got in and drove away.
I ignored the bad feeling in my gut about tonight, and headed to the store.
