"Please, not too many parties, and clean up if you do have one. Check up with me a lot. No boys over, and you can't miss any school, I'll be checking your grades. Oh an-"
"Mom" I cut her off from her rules. "I'll be fine. It's three weeks. Have fun in London. I can't wait to hear all about it." I smiled pulling her into a hug. She sighed into my hair before pulling away.
"I'll be counting down the days. I love you Care Bear."
"I love you too, mom." She let me skip school today to say goodbye. She walked up to her airport gate, turning around. She smiled at me sadly, then got on the plane. I turned around. Tears were starting to flow down my face, as I drove home. When I got home, I went inside grabbing some chips and settling down on the couch.
An hour later, I heard someone knock. Getting up, I opened the door to see Luke.
"Oh, um hi? Shouldn't you be in school?" I asked looking up at him. He was wearing all back, and leaning against the door frame, smirking.
"I could ask you the same thing, Carter." I sighed leaning my head against the door.
"What do you want Luke." I asked closing my eyes. "Why weren't you at school? Didn't wanna face your boyfriend?" I opened my eyes to see him looking as amused as ever.
"Go away." I said starting to close the door, he stopped it, and walked inside, sitting on my couch.
"I said go away not come in." I said angrily shutting the door and staring at him. I was wearing a sports bra and sweatpants with a gray cardigan. He looked at me up and down before back up to my eyes.
"Damn Carter, how did you know I was coming?" He said batting his eye lashes. I took a couch pillow throwing it at him. His hand caught it, before bringing down past his face. His face was still amused, and his eyes were dark. Before I could blink, I was pinned to the couch, my hands above my head. Luke was straddling my waist, holding both my wrists in one of my hands.
"Luke, what are you doing? I have a boyfriend you know." I said trying to squirm out of his grip. His hand grew tighter around my wrist, but he wasn't hurting me. He was very attractive. His eyes gleamed a hint of blue, but lost it again, smirking at me.
"We both know why you're with him Carter. To make me jealous. Sorry sweetie, but it's quite obvious." I acted tough, trying to convince him I didn't want him.
"No, I like him. A lot." I said proudly. Even though I was lying, I was trying to get under Lukes skin.
"Oh yeah? Then imagine this situation if Justin was sitting on you? Or when he kisses you?" He said. I couldn't hide the disgusted face. I would never like that.
"See Carter? You aren't as tough as you think you are." I tried to desperately to pull from his grip, but I couldn't. His hands got tighter around my wrist. I knew what I had to do.
"Ouch! Luke you're hurting me." I whimpered. His eyes widened as he took his hand off of my wrists, sitting back. He was at his point of weakness. With the little strength I had, I managed to change positions, so he was on the bottom. He laughed up at me as I set my legs, so I was straddling him.
His arms were propped up by his elbows at his side.
"When you're gonna pin a girl down, watch out for the hurting me card. We like to use it a lot." I said whispering into his ear. I was so close to him. And I wanted his lips so badly. I pulled away looking at the trapped, blonde boy.
"Now look who's stronger than Hemmings." I stated proudly, holding his forearms down by his sides.
"Your boyfriend sure as hell isn't, and so aren't very, beautiful brown haired girls who skip school and pin down the bad boy." Before I could process his words. He gently pushed me off, coming back on top of me. My arms were put above my head, his lip ring shining in the light.
"I've fought many people Carter, so what makes you so much stronger than them." I was turned on by his words. And his fingers traced my cheek. I couldn't help myself before lunging up, catching his lips.
He chuckled deeply into the kiss, keeping his lips attached, he lowered our heads back towards the couch. He deepened the kiss, and released my hands. My hands found his hair. I never wanted this to end. His lips were warm, the lip ring cool against my bottom lip. I whimpered, desperately wanting more of him.
"I want you" I mumbled into the kiss. He grunted, before pulling away, but not too far.
"There is just one thing in our way," I stated. "Why do you always push me away?" I wanted to know his answers. He sighed, biting his lip. He rolled off of me, pulling my hands so I was sitting up. I looked at him, trying to find the answers in his face.
He sighed, licking his lips. His large hand intertwined with mine, playing with it. His eyes focused on them.
"You wouldn't understand." He said breathing out. "What do you mean I won't understand? I'll understand more than why you're pushing me away. I clearly want you and I thi-"
"Because I'm in love with you, Carter. And I don't want to be. I'm not supposed to love anyone or anything! I'm supposed to be the douche that fights. Not some lovey dovey bitch. That's why I push you away." His eyes were now on mine. His hand still playing with my hand. His eyes were dark, a single tear slipped from my eye. He sighed heavily, taking his hand from mine. My hand was tingling, missing his touch already.
He ran a hand through his slowly tousled hair, standing up. He turned to head towards the door, but I got up grabbing his hand.
"Luke, wait please." He turned, to look at me.
"You don't have to be the bad boy. I want you more than anything. And we can have it. Please. I know you don't want to break your rep but Luke I need you." I begged. I wasn't sure why I was crying, but Lukes lips came to mine. Healing me. Before pulling away.
"And you're with Justin." He said quietly, turning and leaving out the door. I leaned against the door, regretting everything I did to make Luke jealous. I had to end it with Justin. It sounded bad, but I needed Luke. School ended an hour ago, and I knew where Justin would be. Football practice.
