It was a Sunday morning, and I wanted to go out. I hated being in this house. I threw on an over sized gray sweater and some jeans, pulling a blue beanie over my brown wavy hair. Everyone was busy, so that left me to wander Sydney by myself.

The morning was warm, and I knew there was a beach near by. I grabbed a water bottle and my keys and headed out towards my car. I drove in silence, parking in the parking lot and headed to the not so crowded beach.

There was a family with small children a little ways away. I watched as the kids happily played in the water, splashing their assumed father. A woman was standing a little ways away watching them, laughing and smiling. I noticed her belly was big and round. She was pregnant. I smiled to myself and watched at the happy family.

I missed my father.

The father walked up to the pregnant woman, stooping down to whisper to the womans stomach. A bigger smile came to my face.

"You wanna be pregnant?" I heard someone say. I turned to see Luke sitting next to me. My smile faded, and butterflies erupted.

"No, I'm just happy for them." I said, I let my gaze wander back over to the family to see that the woman was going into the water, her children attacking her with hugs. I could feel Luke staring at me.

"Is this what you Americans do? Come to the beach and watch families have fun?" He asked. I turned to look at him. He was gazing out into the ocean, his knees coming to his chest, holding them in his arms. "It's kinda creepy."

"What are you doing here?" I asked softly. He looked at me, biting his lip ring. "I wanted to get to know you." He said. His eyes dropped to my lips but back to my eyes.

"No thanks." I said looking back at the family, smiling at the giggling and smiling. " I wasn't asking. Come on." He said standing up. He brushed the back of his jeans before reaching his hand out to me. I sighed, giving into him.

"Fine, but if you turn into a douche, I'm leaving." I warned. I grabbed his hand, tingles shot through my body. His hands were warm. He didn't drop my hand as he pulled me towards his car, I stayed silent as he opened the passenger side. This car brought back memories I wish i could forget.

"So what do you want to see?" He said looking at me. I took a moment to study him. His eyes were piercing blue, and happy, his lips turned up slightly in a smile.

"Well, you told me to come with you, I kinda figured we were going somewhere you knew?" I asked raising an eyebrow. His eyes trailed them down my body than back up, making me self conscious.

"Fair enough, we'll go into town then." He turned his body facing forward. He turned the radio on after the car started moving . R.I.P to my youth was playing by the neighbourhood .

He got really smiley, turning it up and screaming the lyrics. I couldn't help but laugh. I didn't know he was that goofy. I sang along with him, the window open, the fresh air on my face. It was the first time in a while that I actually felt free. The songs kept changing, and we kept screaming the lyrics, laughing until my stomach hurt.

The next song came on, Migraine by Twenty One Pilots. I gasped reaching forward and turning it up. I started to sing along, when i noticed Luke was silent. I turned at him to see him smiling at me, before returning his eyes to the road, his smile stayed on his mouth. I leaned and turned down the radio looking at him.

"What? Don't like a little twenty one pilots?" He looked at me and i wiggled my eyebrows. He laughed loudly before looking back at the road.

"I don't have a problem with them, I just wanted to see you sing it." My stomach erupted in butterflies. His hand dropped from the steering wheel, placing it on my thigh. His touch was warm, lighting my skin on fire. He lifted his hand up, and I sulked into my seat, before turning up the radio, and his dropped on my leg again.

My smile got wider as I kept screaming the songs.

I laughed loudly holding my ice cream. "No but her face when the ice cream fell was just hilarious!" I managed to get out, before the laughter returned. We were laughing at something that wouldn't be very funny, but with him, everything was funnier.

He laughed loudly, giving my hand a squeeze. He had my hand tightly in his as we walked over to an empty part of the board walk. A bench over looked the water. We sat watching it, our giggles stopping so we could eat our ice cream.

"Thanks, for this whole day Luke." I said smiling. He turned towards me, he was smiling as well. His dimples prominent. "You're so beautiful when you laugh" He smiled giving my hand another squeeze. I was tingling at his words, trying to hold in my happy screams.

I turned towards him. "Really? Because I think I look like i'm having a seizure rather than laughing." I said poking his dimple. He laughed, his eyes falling to our hands, but back up to my eyes.

"Fine, you do look like you are having a seizure, but honestly, it's cute." I smiled, looking down at him. A question was lingering in my head, I really wanted to ask.

"What does this make us? I mean we kissed twice, we're holding hands, we laughed all day." His smiled remained, but his hand dropped from mine, making it cold again. He stood up, but leaned so his mouth was near my ear.

"Absolutely. Nothing." His breath was hot against my ear, making me shiver. His body was upward again, he swung his leg over the bench then motioned me towards his car. Confused by his posture, I held my ground.

"Nothing?" I asked looking up at him with knitted eyebrows. His smile stayed there, so beautiful. "You heard me." He answered firmly. "Now lets go." He said.

I was confused, and hurt by his gesture. He slowly started to walk away, but I stood up not moving.

I had an idea in mind. Something I don't think he would like. I looked around me, there was no one on the board walk. Just me and Luke. I sighed nervously, before the spark went off inside of me. I slowly started to unzip my gray hoodie, a smirk forming on my lips.

He turned around, when his eyes saw what I was doing, they widened. I pulled the hoodie off, leaving me in a tank top. My bra very clear through it.

"Sorry, It's just getting a little hot out." I stated smirking. I tied my hoodie around my waist and walked slowly up to him.

"Wasn't expecting that from you Carter." He breathed. I thought he was going to do something, but he turned and marched away. Frowning at my failed attempt, i followed him.

I thought silently in my head.
