The Story of Her

Chapter 7 (The Amazed)
School, for Courtney, seemed to just drag on, really slowly, and Courtney couldn't wait for it to end. Not because she hated school, but because she knew nothing amazing was going to happen here, during school hours, heck no. So, when the bell did finally ring at 3 o'clock she couldn't have been happier. She walked her fastest to the doors, fastest to the bus, and fastest to her seat. She was almost home.
She ran off the bus almost tripping on her way out. She didn't waste anytime on racing to the front door. Lance being confused on why she was even running. She'd usually say why run when you can walk, unless she needed to run, otherwise she wouldn't.
"What's going on? Is something happening that no one told me about?" Lance asked, trying to jog up to Courtney.
"No." Courtney started not quite sure on how she'd explain it to him without sounding weird. "I just have a good feeling that, um, something, I don't know what, but something AMAZING is going to happen; I just feel it."
Lance raised his eyebrow, and after a while shook his head left and right, and simply shrugging it away. Courtney, on the other hand, was running too fast for her to see a toy car laying in front of her path, and without seeing it her foot landed straight on it, causing her roll forward, which in the end made her land about face first on the grass ground. To say the least, Courtney had shouted some words,
"Fucking shit face. Holy motherfucker that hurt."
Lance stopped right in his tracks. He'd never heard Courtney swear so much in front of mother. Probably because she didn't know that their mother had came outside. She had seen Courtney's episode and came out to see if she was okay.
"Courtney Arlene!" Her mother shouted. "Finish your homework before anything."
"Okay." She replied slowly getting up.
She walked inside, after dusting herself, and walked straight to the dinning table. Falling into her chair, putting her homework in front of her. She could do this, she had too if she wanted something amazing to happen.
'Wooof' barked Bobby. He hadn't seen her in forever, so seeing her now was completely amazing!
"Oh, hey Bobby," She bent down to pick him up and placing him on her lap. "How's my baby doing?"
She played around with Bobby for a few more seconds before he fell asleep on her lap giving her enough time to finish up her homework.
"Courtney!" Her mother shouted. "Come here."
She rushed over to her mother, 'This is it', she thought, and shoved her homework back into its placement in her bag. She she finally reached her mother, she stopped in her tracks. McDonlad.
"Hey Cookie." He said giving a small wave.
"Bruce and his family are here and I thought it'd be good if you guys went to the pack, it'd be fun!" Her mother said cheerful.
"Uh, Mother, really,.." Courtney paused. She thought about it for a minute, maybe longer she wasn't sure, but if something amazing was going to happen and if she stayed here, at home, than she'd miss it. "Okay, lets go, Bobby!"
They walked, Bruce Jr. aka McDonald, Courtney, Lance, and Bobby Joe. Down the three blocks, making a final turn onto the park.
The park still held all the same things it had when she was here last. A little bit more people here, but she figured it was only because it was Friday. She looked around again doing a quick double take of the place. That's when she saw him. She wasn't sure who he was, but man did he catch her attention. He was working in the concession stand, selling food and drinks and the occasional toys from the tickets you get from doing the activities, he wasn't your average tall guy, around 5' 2" with dark brown hair that it looked black unless the sun shined down on it, he looked to be about in his late teens, but was hard to tell with his baby face, his side burns going down meeting his beard, his beard was the color of his hair, but with a hint of red in it. She could only see the top part of him, but she was almost guaranteed that the bottom half of him was just as beautiful.
"Cookie?" Bruce Jr. asked slightly moving her shoulder forward and back.
"Ah, yes?" She asked, shaking her head, felt like she was in some sort of trance. She looked over at McDonald.
"Was wondering if you wanted some food? I can get some." Bruce Jr. asked starting to walk towards the two booths.
"I can do it, what do you want?" She asked almost rudely shoving past him towards the one with the beautiful creature of man.
"A drink would be fine. I'll find a table."
Courtney nodded her head barely catching what he said before making it in the line. When waiting in the line to order she couldn't stop going over what she'll say to him, well besides the obvious food and drink order, but more around the grounds of befriending him.
"Hi, welcome, what'd you like?" He asked smiling showing a small amount of teeth.
"I'd like a soda, doesn't matter what kind, just whatever you first touch, and some chicken." She replied returning his smile.
"Okay, well, lets see what you'll get." He said, placing his left hand over his eyes facing the opposite side so he wasn't able to see the soda case, and reached down, grabbed the first soda his fingertips had brushed against, and pulled it out.
"Mountain Dew. Awesome." Courtney said smiling. Mountain Dew was her favorite, for now.
"Yeah, it's is pretty dank."
"Dank?" She asked raising her one eyebrow.
"Yes ma'am." He replied with a gleam of pride in his eyes.
"I'm Courtney, by the way, and you have great customer service skills."
"I'm Adin, and thanks, I've worked a few places, and I've gotten good at it."
"It was really good to meet you. Oh, almost forgot, you have a really amazing smile." She said turning around to walk over to where McDonald was siting.
"Thank! You do, too!" Adin shouted over to her.
Adin watched her walk away, and yes, he did stare at her ass. It was really amazing, it was just the right amount of booty, it wasn't super huge where it looked like her booty was randomly placed on it, and it wasn't small at all. Looked like the perfect size for his hand.
'Wait, what?' He thought to himself shaking his head vigorously. He couldn't think of her that way, or in any way, but than again. He looked back over at her, she was sitting across from a guy who looked a few years older than her, he was laughing at something she had said, she was smiling and shaking her head. Boyfriend, maybe, although something about her makes him want to give her a big kiss, or even just a huge.
He shook his head again.
"Hi, welcome, what'd you like?" He than asked smiling his famous non teeth smile.
"That was fun!" Courtney exclaimed, smiling brightly over at McDonald.
"Yeah," He chuckled at Courtney. "It was, we should do it again some time."
"Definitely."
Courtney said goodbye to McDonald, almost having to drag Lance from him, and walking into the safeness of home.
"So, anything amazing happen?" Her grandmother chuckled.
"Well, maybe, today was pretty amazing all together." She replied remembering back at the park when she meant him. She hoped that she'll see him soon. Man, was he handsomely gorgeous.
