When the Valkyrie touched down and its rear hatch started to open I didn't know what to expect, the colonel was his usually calm self he strode out of the ship his head held high and his stance tall and powerful. I followed after him checking my straps on my armour and the power pack on my Hell-Gun. I was greeted by a just rising sun over the layer of clouds beneath one of the tallest spire's of this hive city i turned round to walk towards the front of the Valkyrie where the Colonel was exchanging greetings with the Governor of this world after me came my fellow Commando Des and our regimental Commissar a Cadian by the name of Snek or as the men nicknamed him 'Grinner' for his fascination of the punishment he'd inflict on the men if they failed their duty known as the smiller where he'd take his power sword and make a force smile on their face. To have that was a death sentence usually as that man or women couldn't be trusted. Grinner pushed passed me i sighed and turned to Des who smirked as we carried on over the landing pad, Des gestured at her beret on her head as we neared our commanding officer, i realised i didn't have my beret on and took it out of one my pouches on my webbing and put it on my head the cap badge a winged skull over my left eye.

We were huddled into a ground car limo with the Colonel, Grinner, the Governor and his advisor. Behind us was a mini convoy of their Enforcement vehicles and a Arbites Chimera armed with a water canon was in front of us.
"It's only a short half an hour journey to the main spire" the Governor's advisor said smiling which was off putting in a galaxy such as this.
"If we're are in the tallest area why all the security?" The Colonel asked leaning forwards in his seat opposite the two.
"Well you cant be to.." The advisor started but was interrupted by the Governor.
"Because the many rioters and gangers have got this far up before and we cant take the risk" I could hear a little bit of defeatism and anger in the Governor's voice he'd clearly had enough of this and wanted it to end.
"Well then it seems you need us, i hope all the information i requested is ready also you will broadcast to the cities that martial law is in effect and will be enforced by any means. The curfew is set at 10pm all inhabitants must be inside their homes if not they will be...killed we must show a stronger hand in this conflict or this could become worse"
"But to enact martial law would require thousands of men to enforce it on all cities especially in the lower levels"
"Exactly not everyone will listen so we will have to prove our superiority once this is achieved we will start hunting down leaders and suspects to help us find the source of this rebellion and end it at the head"
