I was outraged i knew that people would die but not this many! Nearly two hundred civilians were dead and nearly double were injured but they refused help fearing they'd be given the Emperor's Grace rather then the help they needed.
Lieutenant Colonel Grkls did say people would die but not this many and not this violently, trapping them in between two forces and just cutting through them until they met in the middle.
There was no knock at the door but the colonel came came in he was your stereotypical looking commander; around six foot no facial hair, his actual hair was well groomed and kept underneath a cap with his regiments cap badge clipped on the front his face was slightly squared on his jaw was low and wide his chin was square in line with his jaw and his face showed age.
"You asked for me?" He asked
I nodded before i replied.
"I know you said people would die but what your men did last night was slaughter, nothing else your treating my city like a war zone when it is not! We are very far from such areas so do not treat as one. I want you to not do that again don't slaughter my citizens!" I ranted anger coursing through me and my fists clenched.
Grkls seemed unphased he stood still hands behind his back.
"Sir you said i could do whatever i deem necessary to quell this rebellion did you not?" Grkls replied starting to walk towards me.
"Well yes but..." I started realising i was on a thin line now.
"Then let me do this how i feel i can achieve the objectives to end this and find the cause" he interrupted his hand moving to his bolt pistol in its holster.
I couldn't think of a reply and sat down.
"If thats all i will be going goodbye sir" Grkls continued leaving me in my office.

Around ten minutes passed before anything happened and Jon burst into the room shouting.
"Arme has fallen! The Arbites station just fell!"
I stood up and looked at him. A whole city has fallen!
"What? Inform the colonel" i replied trying to keep calm.
"I did he said he wouldn't waste troops on a lost cause"
A Officer ran in next again shouting.
"Rioting just at the entrance to the spire the colonel has called in his men from their camp outside the city"
