Chapter 15

Kevin

I got up out of bed. I had to be to work at 3 but called in so me and Moriah could go to her appointment. I was a little excited but at the same time i didn't know if i should be or not.

I text Moriah and told her to be ready when i got there and she said she would. I didn't expect to be going to doctors appointments about pregnancy at my age. But at least I'm not too old and I'm not too young.

I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I had taken a shower already and was just waiting til it was time to go to put on my clothes.

I grabbed my black true religion jeans and my black and white polo shirt that i had hanging up on my closet and put it on.

I put on my black and white Jordan's and a black polo beanie that had a white horse in the middle of it.

I looked in the mirror to make sure i was straight. I put some baby lotion in my hair so it could be curly and put lotion on my arms and face.

I was ready.

I grabbed my keys off the counter and walked out the door making sure to lock it behind me.

Moriah

" Mommy am I going wid my daddy today?" Cherish asked Stacey as she colored in the coloring book i had brought for her yesterday.

"Yes baby. Start getting your things ready he said he would be on his way." Stacey told her.

"Yaayyeee daddy coming to get me, daddy coming to get me!" She started singing making me and Stacey laugh. This lil girl is a character for real.

"What time is your appointment?" Stacey asked looking at her phone i guess to check the time. "Its at three but Kevin is going to take me he said he would be on his way earlier." I tell her. She nodded her head and started placing Cherish's clothes in a bag that she would be wearing at her dads.

A few minutes later Loyalty walked in and spoke to everyone. "Whatsup LT" I said. I was the only person who called him that and he hated it.

Just when he was about to say something i heard a car horn outside and got up from where i was seated. "Well that's my ride Stace, bye Cherish!! I love you! Have fun at your dads" I yelled. She yelled it back and i walked out the door.

I walked to Kevin's car and got inside. "Whatsup" he said as he backed out of the drive way. "Nothing. Just chilling lately." I tell him. Shrugging my shoulders.

I leaned my head on the window and closed my eyes.

"You tired?" He asked. "Nawl I'm just thinking. I have a lot on my mind.
"Ohok, well you dont need to be stressing. Its not good for the baby. And put your seat belt on." He told me. I rolled my eyes "yes sir." He looked at me and smirked and then turned his attention back to the road. "Did you eat anything Riah?" He asked. I shook my head no and he turned into a Wendy's. "What you want?" He asked pulling up to the drive through. "Just get me a sprite, I'm not really hungry" i tell him.

He sucked his teeth. "May i have two of the number 4's with a a sprite and a coke." He yelled.
I smiled a little. "Didn't i just tell you i wasn't hungry Kev?" He didn't say anything he just pulled up to the window. I got the money out to pay for my part of the food and he looked at it and turned away from me and handed the lady at the window his money. "You get on my nerves." I said. "Whatever."

The lady gave him his change and he pulled up to the next window so we could get the food we ordered. "Ayye check and see if all my shit in there cause last time yall asses gave me the wrong fucking order". He told the girl standing at the window. She rolled her eyes and begin checking and ended up leaving to go get another fry that i guess they forgot to put in our bag.
