Juria's P.O.V

It's the night of Halloween and I'm so exited! I walked out of my last class and hurried to meet my best friends. It's weird how when they aren't around I feel weak, sad, and kinda sick. I see them and crash into their awaiting arms. It may have only been an hour but it felt like eternity. A sense of overwhelming happiness and energy surged through my veins at the physical contact. We walked to the parking lot with linked arms where we got on our respective vehicles. Seph gave Millie and I a two seater motercycle of our own and taught both of us how to drive so we wouldn't have to squeeze on her one seater speed bike. Millie got it right away but it took me a while to get it. Apparently she had three bikes in her garage that she won in races. Neither Millie or I wanted to be selfish and take two of her custom modified babies so we share a two seater. I sat in the back seat like I normally do and put my helmet on. My helmet is dark navy blue with sparkly lighter blue and white ribbon like lines elegantly dancing across it. Millie and Seph have helmets matching mine but Millie's is in sparkly emerald green and jade green on a earthy brown backround and Seph's helmet is a deep, sparkly, black cherry red on a almost black purple backround. We looked badass.

Millie dropped me off at my house so I could get ready to go costume shopping. My mom started screaming at me as I walked in the door and as usual her words stung like angry hornets. Suddenly Millie and Seph popped into my head with all their positive words and compliments. I walked right on by to my room, grabbed my purse, and changed into more comfortable clothes to change in and out of. I was arranging my long, silky, insanely light blonde hair when I heard a motercycle revving up outside. Seph's picking me up. We have a system. If it's Seph she revs the engine and if it's Millie she honks. I race outside, narrowly missing a beer bottle flying towards my head. I hop on the bike with Seph. She has her other two seater motercycle and hands me the spare plain black helmet. She has on her now signature leather jacket, dark and tight jeans, and combat boots. I have on army green, loose, shorts and a Disney sweatshirt. My shorts go to the middle of my thigh and hide all my cuts that haven't faded yet. We see Millie at the front of the mall wearing a kinda hipster outfit of skinny jeans, open flannel with a sugar skull tank top underneath, grey beanie, and ankle boots. We do our three way secret handshake and head in.

We head straight to the Halloween store and brainstorm group costume ideas. We decide to go as the power puff girls. I'm bubbles, Millie is blossom, and Seph is buttercup. We bought the costumes and proper makeup. We left the store and got dinner at the food court. I don't know how Seph manages to eat so much food! I mean damn! I ended up getting some new band shirts and a pair of vans. All Seph got was a new leather jacket since her two was aparentlly not enough and two new pairs of heavy duty combat boots. Millie got some high quality paint brushes and paints and a new pair of high waisted jeans. Seph payed for everything. She kicked Aphrodite out after the promised three weeks when like always, she just sat around not doing anything and not believing that Seph would go through with the threat. Seph said that after she kicked her out, that she really realized how much money she sucked up. Using the money that would have been used on her sister, she had a lot of play money.

We headed to the forest, dropping Millie's bike at her place and on instinct walked to the clearing. We giggled all the way there because Millie was telling a story of when Gemini wore a beanie to hide his hair. When they took the beanie off of him, his hair was bright neon yellow with orange streaks in it. His sister had styled his hair and mistook the hair gel for yellow hair dye and then put orange highlights from mistaking the bleach with orange hair dye. We laughed really hard upon Millie's reenactment of explaining to poor Gemini that his sister did it on purpose because no way could someone who does hair for a living, screw up that badly. We walked for a good long while because of how deep into the woods the clearing was. As we reached the clearing the familiar sense of calm washed over us. Every time we come here there is a sort of hum in the air that prevented the dry and uncomfortable silence that nature sometimes produces. Being with Millie and Seph made it a billion times better.
