I woke up, earlier than expected. It was 8 am. I groggily got up, my shuffling noises waking Dotty. She got up
quickly, and headed for the window. She sat on the floor near it since there was no windowsill.
"Dots, you don't have to leave just yet. Just.. Hang on. I've got an idea."
I unlocked and opened up the window, and I picked her up and put her out.
"Stay here until I'm back. "
She sat down.
She's a really one of a kind cat.
I opened my door and made way downstairs. I heard shuffling and slight giggles and.. moans? I sighed, as Lacy was awake. God knows what she was doing. Devin was probably at work, or getting drunk somewhere.
Yes, I know it's 8 in the morning.
That's how pathetic he is. I slowly stepped off the last step and hid near the wall, and looked to the kitchen.
What. The. Fuck.
Lacy was there making out with some guy, as he was groping and grinding against her. The image burned into my mind and disgusted me even more than when her and Devin were overly affectionate in front of me.
I nearly gagged. I tried to step backwards up the stairs as quietly as I could.
With my fucking luck, it creaked.
Both their heads came looking towards me.
Lacy looked livid.
She marched over to me, grabbing my by my sleeve and tugged me up the stairs forcefully.
She pushed me into my room, and,
She hit me.
She slapped me across the face, leaving a red, painful mark.
"IF YOU TELL YOUR FATHER ABOUT THIS, THEN I SWEAR TO GOD! I WILL KILL YOU!" She screamed at me.  Fear struck into my body as my stomach dropped, leaving a dark, scared feeling.
I always hated when people yell.
Being me, I teared up. I tried to not cry in front of her. Tried my hardest.
She scoffed before heading out, closing the door, taking the dude with her. Right after she left, I let out a soft sob, wetting my face with the tears that represented three agonizing years with these people as my "caretakers."
Dotty poked her head through the window, hear ears flat against her head.
Her eyes looked sad almost. I walked over to the window, still crying.
she nuzzled against me, hopping on her hind legs to put her paws on her shoulders and to rub her face against mine.
I cried harder.
"God dammit.."
I spoke, frustrated with the world.
I collapsed onto my knees on the floor, face in my hands and cried.
Dotty came and hopped off the window, sitting next to me.
Me and her sat there for a long, long time.
