[A Year Later]

I was walking toward my workplace, when I spotted a crowd. Curious like I am, I decided to go see what was happening.

A group of 13 boys including Wonwoo were performing on a small stage. Wonwoo had  decided to become an idol and went to Seoul. I hadn't really seen him since then, but we would still text from times to time. Hyemi and him were still together. In fact, she had come to live in Seoul at the same time he did, except she got an apartment on her own. As for me, the new job I had gotten made me come to Seoul's just a few weeks ago.

Nobody except me remembered Hoshi.

I cheered for Wonwoo while in the crowd. They were quite good at performing, I was proud of Wonwoo. Another of the members started singing, and a blond boy came to the front as they changed positions in the choreography. I immediately recognized the boy. It was him. it was Hoshi.

I stopped cheering, my vocal cord not responding anymore. Instead, I stared at him until they went off the stage at the very end of the performance.

I found him.

The crowd started walking away, but I stayed. I didn't care being late to work. He was there. The backstage was surprisingly easily accessible. The group hadn't debuted yet, so there weren't much fans around anyway. I walked over to the group of boys. They were taking of the mics and some other equipment.

"(Y/N)" It was Wonwoo, he had spotted me.

"Hey," I greeted him. Wonwoo walked closer to me, and we stopped just a few meters away from the rest of them.

"It's been a while. How are you doing?"

"I'm good. How about you?"

"Great. We're going to debut in a few months!"

"That's great. I hope they don't overwork you guys too much though. Are you eating well? Do you get enough sleep?" I asked.

"Yes, yes, don't worry." Wonwoo laughed lightly and smiled. Hoshi walked over to us and bowed as our eyes met.

"Who is she?" he asked Wonwoo.

"That's my friend (Y/N)," Wonwoo introduced me.

"Nice to meet you (Y/N), I'm Soonyoung," I continued staring at him during a while. I guess he found it strange.

"Do I know you?" he asked.

"Ah... yes," I simply answered.

"Oh, you do? I'm sorry, I don't remember who you are... one day I woke up and couldn't remember anything. Did you perhaps know me from before?" I nodded, and he got his cellphone out.

"Could we exchange contact? I'm trying to collect infos from my past... maybe you could help me remember some stuff?" I agreed by nodding and got my own cellphone out from my bag.

We exchanged numbers, and he told me he'd contact me. Seventeen left shortly after.

Soonyoung huh? I guess that's the name they gave him when he woke up without remembering anything...

[A Few Months Later]

Soonyoung and I had become friends. From his request, I told him a little about his personality and so, without revealing anything about the genie world. We usually texted regularly, though these days a bit less since he was going to debut with Seventeen in not so long.
